Someone should adapt this into a game, movie or something lol

When I do no gi I find that my style and preferences of fighting are exactly the same. It’s mainly because I use a lot of wrist grips and neck grips as well as rely heavily on head control and my ability to slip into mount easily. However is I train more no gi I think my gi game will actually improve because it’ll force me to learn the grips and under hooks more effectively

Starting jiu-jitsu? Practice 9 months to 1 year in a gi. After you have the basics, switch to nogi or 10th planet.

Had a similar situation. The guy I sparred him was high level brown/black with lots of competitive accolades. But I am all rubbery and he only sparred with me years back, when I was novice. Caught him with a sneaky triangle that really got him flustered. Remaining sparring time he really upped the notch to take me apart, barely made it out in time.

I feel so blessed to have flexibility for rubber guard. So much shit to try out that will make my sparring partners bewildered.

This termite species has dimorphic soldiers, meaning that soldiers come in 2 different sizes, which is a trait shown in many Higher Termites and a few species of termites in Rhinotermitidae(though a few species in Rhinotermitidae can have more than 2 sizes of soldier, while Acanthotermes acanthothorax, a type of Fungus-Growing Termite has 3). In 1:41, you can see a major(larger) soldier next to a minor(smaller) soldier. This species is the only black-coloured Nasute Termite I know that has dimorphic soldiers.

The ants in the video are Asian Weaver Ants(Oecophylla smaragdina), which in my opinion are one of the most unique ants in the world, as they build nests out of tree leaves and larval silk and are one of the most colourful ants in the world(queens range from a dull yellow to emerald green. In Asia, workers are a reddish orange, while in Australia, they are green and orange in colour).

Note: Rhynchotermes Perarmatus is a type of Manibulate Nasute Termite due to the mandibles specialised in defence and acid gun found on soldiers.

The termites look like Longipiditermes longipes since they're the only known black coloured Nasute termite species to have two different soldier sizes. In 0:34, you can see the size difference between a minor(or smaller) soldier and a major(or larger) soldier aiming their guns at the ant(which is the Asian Weaver Ant/Oecophylla smaragdina). It's quite amazing that Nasute termites can shoot accurately even though soldiers of all species are blind, while Harvester termites being the only types of termites that have workers and soldiers with eyes even though the soldiers are mandibulate(rely on mandibles as weapons) .

Thinking of starting training in BJJ. Should I begin with no-gi right away or start with the gi?

Almost all of the great BJJ guys in MMA to this day are gi-mostly players. This argument sounds good but hasn't panned out.

What Eddie says is correct. I will add one thing though about gi training that gets lost without the gi. Learn escapes with the gi on. It is much, much harder to slip out with the gi on and that makes you become more technical and your escapes and defences become much stronger.

I use BJJ as self defense therefore I don't use the gi. If you want to do sport use the gi. Make sure you are having fun is most important but for me I don't like the gi at all.

I trained in Gi BJJ, thinking I did not need to learn NoGi until I reached the brown belt level. Well, I was wrong and recently got smashed by my cousin that trains in NoGi BJJ. I am switching to 10th Planet BJJ and joining my cousin.

Sure he wanted to do MMA. 😂 He's a funny guy! The truth is, he basically got high and being high off weed makes you think so interesting stuff. I remember I came up with some great ideas back in the 90s but I forgot as soon as the high wore off or when I woke up and the only reason I remembered is I came across something that helped me remember like a commercial on TV the time I thought of the idea and then it's on and I remember. It's weird but that what weed does so it's stupid kids or people who are thinking of starting.

It should really be called, "10th Planet Luta-Livre Esportiva" or "10 Planet Catch Wrestling" Real Jiu-Jitsu/BJJ has a gi. As does Judo and Aikido. There is no "10th Planet Judo".

Been looking for this for years. A lot of these anti-drug PSAs stuck with you, but usually because they could be terrifying. This one made me think of my little brother, and still does. Love it. Thanks for posting.
