Looks like your a little short of pumps. That one will be good for your drive but what about steering. Any auxiliary hydraulic will need a 3rd.
@FabricateEveryDayКүн бұрын
@@jasonbainbridge982 you don’t need to add additional pumps, as you can use priority valves to ensure pressure goes to the steering first. Once I get it up and going, I can easily change my current pump out for a larger one if I need to run more accessories, but these pumps are already sized to run the drives, 3 point lift, and hydraulic PTO standard. Adding steering to that doesn’t take much hydraulic flow away.

I work on semi truck tractors for a living. It’s funny how these little bikes are harder to work on than semi’s. Because everything on the bike is so damn small.

I think you need to put your tongue steering link much further forward. The left side steering arm on the knuckle should probably be angled away from the tongue, too but I'm not 100% sure about that... It's very cool. Nothing like using stuff you have laying around to make something new!

Thanks! This is just made up of scrap metal and bits and pieces I had lying around the garage, so I had to make do with what I had.
I think a stock hood will look good with a little lift to clear the valve covers, maybe with power bulges to keep rain out of the bank valley.

I needed a 4wd tractor as the areas I was using this one, the front tires kept sinking into the ground. I’m currently building a 4x4 articulated that will be more useful for me. You can see those videos on my channel too.

Youve done great work so far. If youve not driven a case hidrive before, i will warn you that their drive system is pretty wonky especially once the control linkages have some slop and throttle wont stay up. The bigwheels are also the most cramped operator compartment i have ever sat in. Maybe these are some of the reasons why people are so willing to cut them up for their excellent axles. My 446 was the biggest let down of any tractor ive had. If you arent impressed with the drive system when you get it done, swap over to a typical SAE hydrostatic axial piston pump with a footpedal rockshaft for infinite speed control and hands free forward and reverse. It can be plumbed to those travel motors just fine. I would plumb them in series. I hated my deere 140 travel control until i went to a left foot rockshaft pedal to stroke the swash plate. Freed up my hands for the pair of H3 valve spool sets.

You are inspiring me man to get at mine build. I have all the components for a Case 4x4 including two rear ends with hyd. motors. I found a hydraulic steering motor from a combine.I hope to use an Onan generator motor if I can brings its max ,1,800 rpm up without destroying it.
@FabricateEveryDay Жыл бұрын
Start posting a build on yours, and maybe I’ll be inspired to get going on finishing mine! I think I need/want to abandon my Cub steering rotator valve as it uses these clamped o-ring fittings, and I “need” to get a valve with “conventional” hydraulic fittings, so I can easier hoses made up.

I ended up with a mx 350 for my son from the thrift store. I replaced the motor and controller with a 24v 30amp controller from an ezip 750, and the 750watt motor from the ezip as well. 2x12v 20ah deep cycle batteries and a P51 with sharks teeth on the custom battery cover. Headlamps, blinkers, tail lights and brake light are next. Suspension has been an concern because it's fast but rides like a brick. I bought the same forks and have been hesitant to put them on because they are in a different position then stock (further back), and the bolt holes are wrong.

I really appreciate the video you shared on this build. I like the speed you got out of your pump. I’m guessing you’re using a low speed pump. What’s the gpm operating rpm? Sorry for the questions. I just started on a loader for myself trying to find a decent pump.
