I was born September 10,1960, so I don't have any first hand memories of this storm. In 2012 I fled my home on Long Island because of Hurricane Sandy.

I was not yet 4 years old when Hurricane Donna came through Bartow Fl. The city lost huge oak trees that the city was famous for when the azaleas planted around them were in bloom. The grape fruit tree that had been outside my parents bedroom was on the roof over the bedroom . My mother would not let us kids off the front porch because power lines were down and every time one hit a puddle, it would emit blue sparks. Even though I had not yet turned 4 , at the time Hurricane Donna came through, I still remember it

This was very nice, loved the film. Your video has a wonderful feel with beautiful work.I remember Donna, I was 12 yrs old living in Mulberry, Fl when she stormed through. We took damage in our neighborhood but I have no memory of anyone being injured. Thank you for sharing.
