This does not uninstall Edge for me at all. All I get is the following: TASKKILL /F /IM msedge.exe ERROR: The process "msedge.exe" not found. C:\Windows\System32>RD /S /Q "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge" The system cannot find the file specified. C:\Windows\System32>RD /S /Q "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Edge" The system cannot find the path specified. C:\Windows\System32>RD /S /Q "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge"

HI. Why does my messenger application only open in Microsoft edge? Why can't it open in Google chrome? Is there anything I can do to change this? I noticed that there are no more settings in the messenger application so that you can change the browser with which the application opens. Thank you

i! It sounds like Messenger is opening links in Microsoft Edge because it's set as the default browser on your device. To fix this: Go to your computer's Settings > Apps > Default Apps. Scroll to the Web browser section, click on Microsoft Edge, and choose Google Chrome. If links still open in Edge, check the Default Apps by protocol settings and set HTTP and HTTPS to Chrome. Unfortunately, Messenger doesn’t allow you to pick a browser directly anymore, so it relies on the system's default browser. If you’d like, I can create a video on managing browser defaults to make this easier. Let me know!"

Been happily using Edge for three years now. I used to be hooked on Chrome now Edge is so much better and the combination with copilot makes is even better.

Edge is easy to remove just turn off all edge processes in task manager the delete all edge files in the Program Files (x86) Microsoft folder leaving behind Edge-Webview, Edge may come back after an update so just delete all those file again, I use Revo Uninstaller to remove edge and it has never returned and there is no bad issues for my system

SysMain service can be disabled in Computer Management to stop it from analyzing frequently used apps and caching them into RAM. I decreased my CPU usage percentage with this. It was over 20%-30% and now mostly stays under 20% at idle. Still not as clean as Win10 which can idle near 3%.

Is granting Full Disk access at the 4:00 mark mandatory to get TeamViewer to work?

Hi Derrick, no you can choose just to enable the first two options. It just means if the person helping you wants to drag and drop files onto your desktop, they can’t without full disk access. If you are worried about security just do the first two. Thanks Andy
