my tao tao has sat for at least a month. it'll turn over for a couple seconds after spraying starter fluid in carb, then sputter out again. what recommendations do you have?
@dirtyhands5760Ай бұрын
These carburetors plug up so easy on these Tao Tao’s , try opening up the drain valve on the carb to drain some gas. If this doesn’t work you’ll have to take the carb apart and clean it. I’ve added a fuel filter to the gas line to stop debris from the gas tank getting into the carb, seems to have helped.

Just touch the kill switch wire a metal engine part if you have a bare end on the wire hold there until the engine stops then let go much safer than messing with the plug wire
@dirtyhands57603 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for that information, I wasn’t aware of this. When the kill switch didn’t work for the first time I wasn’t aware the wire came loose so I only knew to pull the spark plug wire.

I just got one, tag said Woods "Holiday" Tent. Thing smells like ww2. Smells like a small sk town museum. Old guy I bought it off of says it's either 69' or 70' but google knows nothing on the matter either. Mine looks very similar but it's faded orange and white. 9 person tent. I was just trying to find instructions, do you have instructions? I struggled to assemble mine alone...but with 2 people it's easier and we had to figure out where everything went on our own
@dirtyhands57604 ай бұрын
I have no instructions either, took a little while to figure it out but was able to assemble the tent by myself.
@northern1997.4 ай бұрын
@@dirtyhands5760 yeah same. Mine reeks so I gotta get this canvas cleaner...supposed to scrub it in, rinse then repeat and it supposedly makes the canvas look and smell better. The old dude I bought it off of said to use lemon juice to kill the smell. I just seasoned mine(soaked it with water) and it's super water repellent now. Solid, quality tents hey. I did some research and these big ones (9 ppl+) sell new for 1200-2000 retail. Got mine for 180 so not bad.
@dirtyhands57604 ай бұрын
@@northern1997. I sprayed mine also to make sure it didn’t leak. You can’t beat the quality of the old tents. I got this tent for free from an old lady, so I’d say I lucked out with this one.

@dirtyhands576010 ай бұрын
The corner piece can only have the back support taken off, which is the same procedure as the other back in the video. If you mean how to separate the two sections from the corner, usually you have to lift up on the longer section and it’ll come apart
