So, 1.5 years later, do you still love your Dahon Mariner D8? I really like mine a lot. I have the D7 and D8. A $1,750 starting price for a 6-speed and a $3,250 starting price for a 12-speed Brompton? No thanks.

I sold it even though I really like it. Just didn't have time to use it. I like the brompton as well but it's quite expensive.

thanks for the tutorial, i just installed mine, but even though the bolt in the hitch is tight, it kinda wobbles, is it the same with yours?

Hi. There's no wobble in mine. Maybe you can put something in between the hitch before you tighten it down to lessen the wobble.

Hello po. Yes po maganda ang quality nya. Yung pinagkakabitan ng adapter hindi sya ganon kasolid pero tingin ko good enough na yung quality nya para magtagal.

Hi, I just check their warranty that Dahon requires user to have routine/yearly maintenance performed by Dahon's authorized dealer only. If you do not it will not honor the warranty. What do you think about this? Are you going to have routine maintenance by Dahon dealer? I would say it would cost $100 USD yearly for this maintenance service at dealer which I do want to perform the maintenance by myself. Thanks

Yes. I agree with you. Maintaining your Dahon bike is not that complicated. Get yourself some accessories from the $100 that you'll save. 😊
