I read broadly on Zen, and later became a Christian. I'm now coming back to Zen because it is too easy in the material world, even with spiritual practice, to get tied up with concepts and illusion. I doubt if I'll stop being a Christian, but I must return to that naturalness and peace and release of desire that I could find only in Zen (and indeed I have studied Taoism, but for me Zen is a practical form of Taoism.. Taoism being the theory, Zen living it).

I am grateful for my girl friends israel again for standing up for uyghur rights in the market. I believe in a sense only Israel can because disgustingly the uyghur oppression history is so much like that of oppression of Jews during the Holocaust. The loop returns to us very much that creative thought and literature of all types not just uyghur writing is stifled severely until the moral world brings it's full sincerity and consistency in clearing the blockages of energy causing this tragedy. Yesterday my friends responded to a Whole Foods market that had been selling parts made whole or in part by uyghur exploitation, they severely shook several people from the solidified stereotypes that we are force fed into the vivid world of experiencing all life without preconception hearing and experiencing people without prejudging race or religion or clothing. The experience of unconditioned consciousness heals us from uyghur exploitation as much as systematic weeding out of known supply chains because in the pure conscious state we naturally attract non corrupt energies and the higher soul knows. The pure conscious state prevents us from stereotyping and blindly throwing away anyone not just uyghur peoples as slaves who don't matter, it helps us to see the flower in each lifeform. It helps us to see the energy flows that will bring about our goals of higher standards and integrity. I am thankful for the grocers at that whole foods for apologizing for the ignorance and doing their best to provide morally and not immorally. I know that there is an undocumented string of liberations of uyghur people happening because of the intervention of Israelis through the technique known as tzeruf where they assail oppressing regimes with unrelenting consistency, matching their every move with the mirror of self owning and showing the repressers of conscience to their karma inescapably not allowing a lax spiritual bond between serious oppression and bad manifestations in the life of oppressors. I am grateful this Spirit principle is visible clearly and directly in today's world and that it is causing much synergy and divine creativity ... Love will get us through this , keep trying because success is happening

Wow! This is LIFE CHANGING! I feel so lucky to have found this! I’m already on my 2nd listen. I find much like many other great works such as the Tao or the way…..each time I listen the more I learn a new aspect of the concept

Good luck with your practice too. I find it difficult to do regular meditation, and often do chi gung instead. But to listen to the words is not to follow the words. Ironically we have to take the action to commit to non-action to find the peace and contentment.

Thia book is great. I needed to read Suttas and more books on meditation before I could feel progress.
