So many easter eggs in this film. Marion Chambers (The nurse) was with Dr Loomis when michael first escaped and she showed up at the hospital in pt 2. Janet Leigh (Jamie's mom) was in Psycho and there are so many references to that film. Including the car she drove in the original film. Laurie told them to run next door to the backers. In Scream (1996) casey backers dad tells his wife to run next door to the mackenzies, which was a reference to halloween.

Thank you sharing these Easter eggs. This movie did feel like a love letter to not only the franchise but also adding references to Scream was like a "back at ya 😉" to Wes Craven. I forgot to mention it during my reaction

its weird how the original, has one kill in the opening, then its a slow burn up until the end where Michael kills 3 people, yet anytime the sequels do that style, its called boring. fandom is crazy lol

The first one built tension much better and Dr. Loomis trying to get to Michael also added more to the story. This one tried to build tension with a bunch of fake out jump scares, and I hate when any movie does that.

And to add on to what you said, the 2000s was such a fun cinematic time. Even if plots were cliché, it just still hit different. It makes me sad knowing we won’t get that again… 😭

If you aren't aware, there are 2 recent sequels to Tales From The Hood. TFTH 2 is hosted by Keith David and 3 is hosted by Tony Todd (RIP).

Was going to joke at least you didn’t go Resurrection. But then you said it was still in play. Lol. More Sci-Fi than horror but you could go Aliens 3 for Charles S Dutton AKA Rock! He’s got a fabulous performance in that movie. As per usual. Love the content as always! CutupCrew for life!

You are correct that H2O is more of a legacy sequel (legasequel) than a continuation of the series. I love that it tosses aside everything but 1&2 and says definitively 'This time Jamie Lee wins!'

I know you're gonna have thoughts on LL Cool J being in H2O, but I'm glad he survives😅 It's kinda funny that Busta is in the sequel. For an early supporting role for LL - The Hard Way, with Michael J Fox And though he's only a cameo, check out The Convent (2000) for Coolio being hilarious. RIP

Not me getting on here right on time! This movie gets a lot if hate, but it's a personal favorite. Plus it came out right around my 20th birthday(DAMN) so I had to go see it.

@SistaGurlonFilms Oh it MOS DEF has a lot of flaws...A LOT of flaws. Main one is how hard they tried to ride off Scream, which they didn't need to do. I have fun with it, but it don't feel like a Halloween movie. Them switching up on a PERFECT ending kinda f'd it up too lol.

Love this movie❤good choice Sista!!! I’ve watched Halloween H20 more than a hundred times over the years lol!! Michael Myers still looks creepy & will forever be known as an iconic serial killer!!! Jamie Lee Curtis is always badass as Laurie strode, tremendous actress. Yes LL Cool J was in this and he was great in Deep Blue Sea, my favorite shark movie. Fun fact this was Josh Harnett’s rookie year in his film debut. Amazing reaction❤ can you react to the first M3GAN on fright night friday?? I saw the trailer of the new one coming this year summer 2025!!!
