I've been playing SoR on what is essentially super hard mode for some time now with most of the hard mutators, and there are only 2 characters I've been unable to get wins with: Werewolf and Bouncer. Werewolf is mostly just because if the enemy health is too high it's nigh impossible to get enough kills for his big quest so I quit him. Bouncer on the other hand is the worst character for this and just a bad and not fun character in general. Let me list the ways. - I'm playing with disasters every floor so you know this is a nightmare. The Musician is braindead, I'm trying to run past zombies or cannibals or whatever and if one of them slaps him he wants to take on all 20 of them which obviously gets him and usually me killed. - With shifting status effects he's constantly frozen, paralyzed, or my fucking favorite, shrunk and then stepped on by his own fucking groupies. - Speaking of groupies, despite them not being able to attack the Musician it still happens all the fucking time. Musician will get slapped somehow and then spend like 90 seconds fighting the guy, doing a whopping 1 damage with every hit. I can't get him to do anything at all while this is going on. Why the hell can't you give him some simple commands to help with shit like this? Have them be on a cool down or something. - Musician follows at the perfect distance to almost always get hit by the invisible land mine I just walked past, I love it. - Because my life isn't miserable enough 2 out of 25 highly important inventory slots are filled up with bullshit. - Him running away because I didn't bring him to a toilet would be bad enough, but it's actually preferable to him (and any of his dumbass fans) attacking me so I have to beat the shit out of him, then give him a bunch of my own health after. They should make it so that either you just slap him a few times and he gets in line or if you run away from him for long enough he calms down. So in conclusion I hate this guy. I want to stomp his guts out and murder his child in front of him. The Bouncer has a few small strengths that really, REALLY do not make up for how shit the fucking Musician is, like Stomp can let me stun people to do a quest and then run out before fighting anyone that's nice, and his stats are fine I guess. But holy shit this character sucks. I think the farthest I've made it so far is just to Downtown and I've tried playing him like this literally hundreds of times. Medical Professional works on him which I just discovered, that's nice. Help save some health there. I'm trapped in a prison of my own making but I swear to all that is holy one day I will beat this shitty character on this horrible hard mode prison I've made for myself, and then after that every time I see a Musician walking around in the game I will murder them light them on fire and eat their body even when I'm not playing as a cannibal.

I've noticed that Medic has one of if not the best stock melee in the game. Many might think they are equal because 7/9 melees swing for 65 damage at the same rate. This fails to take other factors into account like, class health, class speed, and passive abilities. Medic is the fastest class to retain the 65 damage swings. Both Scout and Spy give up precious damage for the fastest speed in the game and various abilities respectively. Medic is able to catch up to and retreat from nearly every class in the game while retaining his 195 damage crits. And all that is without bringing up his hp regen. If you died to the medic it's likely he'll be back to full by the time you respawn. Only downside is the 150 health, so he can't survive a random crit like the soldier. Does this mean that the Bonesaw is overpowered? No not even close. Along with melee's higher crit chance, I believe this is by design. Melee will always be risky but I believe Medic will always have the best odds.

First Advice: You have access to save slots in the setting, meaning you can start fresh in this game and not erase all the progress you made. And while you need the hacking tools with tech expert, you CAN also make use of the terminal freely. Check the drug stalls often, and try to keep a good stock pile of drug, juggle things around, and make use of vents, and pools and maybe use the leaf blower to push people into said pools or buildings.

No advice here. All the same as before.

Same advice as earlier in the playlist, largely, try your joke around thieves and hackers, and use their assitance cheap, same for shopkeepers of any kind.

Could you do a guide on the CCU mod?
@SioxGreyWolf29 күн бұрын
Most of my tips before still apply, but this may be relevent. I haven't played gorrila enough to check ,but most hackers have translators by default, meaning even as a gorrilla you may be able to talk to one, either to use their services and poppinga few doors open for your companions, or makea few sell o matics a bit more giving in money, so you have a better exchange rate of guns into bananas. Fruit for thought.
@SioxGreyWolf29 күн бұрын
My first piece of advice: Zombies are NOT multiplayer friendly, so unless your friend has the zombiism, so either another zombie or a zombie custom with at least zombiism. Or as someone else stated, robots. Also the wiki says that improving the strength of your zombies is tied to your zombei plegm ability but that's an utter lie, it's ACTUALLY tied to Zombiism. So you don't need the phlegm to get stronger zombies. Applicable only for a custom char. Also, you could still get those zombies the ability to use the abilities they had when they were alive. Such as breaking windows or hacking devices. So try to get them to your party. That said, they aren't technically the same person as before, so this often means they can't complete quests or still give quests, obviously.

A lot of my advice early on stick here, same stuff about borrowing the aid of a hacker or hacking the devices for extra funds, or spawning in unique non-gangster allies from the cloner, who could do specific roles or just be inherently stronger. Wathc the prior videos and read the prior comments I made on the trips I apply here. Being an all rounder, all the advice here is solid and there is little uniquely tailored to gangster I can give. So see the other videos for tidbits of advice in the video and comments and most of that should help the gangster as well as whom ever you get summoned to the party.
@SioxGreyWolfАй бұрын
Same as the prior videos I got a few bits of advice, but most of it is was addressed way back in docs vid and hacker vid. Make use of hacking tools or a hired hacker to make ammo dispensers cheaper, the seller more profitable, and generally, all that teamwork advice, toss it out. You generally are tanky and armed enough that most of the advice is still applicable. First comment, if you have a silenced gun, in lew of an emp or wrench ,tends to work just as well as any other weapon. 2 or 3 good shots and it will be set off at a nice safe distance. Seeing as regaining ammo is one of the easier tasks for our gun toting friend here. Generally good advice.

A lot of my tips for the thief I covered heavily in Doc guide, so I suggest checking back there about the big tips and tricks, but the long and short of it is, is this that is relevent, all the tips and tricks given from the hacker, if you find a hacker in the map, he can still do that. Especialyl making some extra cash off seller devices or atms. And something more relevent to this char and anyone whose generally disliked by shopkeeps. If you annoy a shop keep, you get kicked out, and the trait just makes it so all shopkeeps start with annoyed, but if they are neutral or friendly, or higher, you can buy from them like regular. And the same goes for any merchant you can get a hacker to pull from the hacking machine for you, so it might be worth taking a merchant floor to floor, for a larger repitore of use for your money. And if not, usually you can at least weaken a few men or kill the shop keep using an attack command, which without them, you won't be ousted from the interior as easily, and saves your squishy behind from being in the fireing line first. Just stay safe distances from fighting, unless your confident that distraction is going favorably away from what you wanna pilfer. And if you got some spare cash, maybe arm them up or at least tend to them.

Tips and Tricks: Sneaky Fingers and Nimble fingers are great early on, but if you stumble on speed coder, it makes them slightly redundant, albiet still useful, if a bit more situational. Also, if your are on a map with some greenery, similar to the advice with the cardboard box, one you can hack FROM the cardboard box, and two, you can hack from any bush while hiding, and unlock a box, you won't get revealed if they walk over you, only if your hit, which makes hacking much easier in those segments, and you can cause some safe mayham as they walk away. And yes, you can hide in the corner till they partol elsewhere. (Just avoid getting stray shot.) Try hacking buildings from other buildings and bathroom, this is often a safe place to be, espcially if you got a cardboard box. And always try to weaken if not out right kill the inhabitants with their own traps, turning their own devices against them, or covering a good escape for you or your prisoner. I had more advice in the prior video, so look for my comment in the doctors guide. I included it there as that advice was more tailored both to teammates in general and when you hire a hacker for a task, rather then have a friend or bomb collared slave doing it free of charge. And yes, if you kill all the robots that came after you, you can resume teleporting, similar to when you clear out the disaster threat.

Tips and Tricks from someone who beat the game: First, a doctor specific trick, just try knocking. A lot of time the target is in a single room with not witnesses, so just sit at the door, knock, and when the target comes, stares at you and turns to leave, you can often slip him the hankie, and get away with it. Multiple times. Now for tips and tricks about using teammates. They can be far less a liability if your cautious with them, and it's easier with no infighting, and means your tranqs phase through. Often you can have them stand guard till they are needed, then they can be used like a guided missle to accomplish the easier tasks. Slaves make great guided bombs who might survive, and if you happen to get a merchant on your team, first since they are aligned or loyal, they give a discount, and you have a reliable merchant every floor. Soilders regen meaning they can survive, and you can top them up if they do, or feel no regrets. "How can you get a merchant" or "Thought only a hacker can get other class types on their team." That is correct, a good hacking tool or a hired hackers can make quick work in lew of an actual friend playing hacker, and a lot less robots. On that regard, they are like thieves, a one and done type deal, but usually if you see a hacker, always try to hire them to hack the sell device and ATM, as these will tend to be able to pay for themselves more then not, while a thief can help you avoid a situation all together, of course being situation. And if you get an aligned that can cause conflicts, such as undead, cannibles or if your really unlucky, a gangster, either dismiss for a free alignment +1 or send them to a quick death that easily won't involve you as you walk away. And if your really lucky, a permawerewolf (You know why that is strong, unless your playing zom or maybe vampire.) And if you get medical professional on slaver, throw your mates into places and if any manage to crawl back to you, you get to just top up your dispoasable ticking time bombs. If you can help it, don't be involved in any of the actual fighting your people get to ,and just sit a bit off screen or go to a different task elsewhere ,and come back later to collect or heal them when they come back. Treat them basically as the same strategy of having that accidental hit thing, albiet with a slight bit less accidental. And a few relevant tips: Cardboard boxes are your friends, they don't burn up on use ,but only when you get nudged OR hit while under it, so if your careful with the few you can find or buy, you can avoid a lot of conflict, and get into clorphorm distance.
@SioxGreyWolfАй бұрын
Tip: If you find the bank and no ATM for what ever reason, you can pay there as well.

I found the werewolf to be the easiest to run. Maybe I just got lucky but I found that Furry Time was long enough to take out everyone in a building and everyone who came rushing in in rare circumstances. Combine that with the health on every kill (+ even more health if you get a kill healthanizer), you don't need healing items or weapons so you can sell literally everything you pick up and upgrade all your traits. Even as a cop you can get in trouble if people see you arresting their friends. Conversely, I'd put the gangsters in crap tier. Always getting attacked whenever there were rival gang members was annoying. I've run every character, maybe I should do it again and see if my thoughts change.
