This is really cool! I teach Mandarin, and watching the perspective of (what I imagine to be) other students is really interesting. Something important that you bring up is Duolingo from what I see is very good as a supplement, and should not be used as a 'silver bullet' to learn to fluency.

Speaking of the coilhead, there are two mods I HIGHLY recommend using to get the most out of them. They don't change much but boy do they add a lot. Scary Coilhead and Coilhead Stare. Configure them to your hearts desire but give em a look. I think you'll like them.

1:32:20 I had both of the storybook Sonic games on Wii growing up, Secret Rings and Black Knight. (the latter is technically a sequel when it comes to gameplay) I didn't play much of either as a kid, but even back then, I knew which one was better: Black Knight. In terms of controls and overall gameplay, Black Knight is a lot better than Secret Rings. Additionally, I love how Sonic's character is portrayed in Black Knight; probably one of his best showings. Honestly, I think Black Knight is one of the most underrated Sonic games. As for Unleashed and Colors though, I never had either growing up, even though they were the more mainstream Sonic titles of their respective years. Anyway, when people talk about Unleashed, they generally bring up the Xbox 360/PS3 version (referred to by fans as the HD version), since that's the most definitive version in a lot of cases. It's actually a VERY good look game for 7th gen console standards, and runs great on the Xbox One. As for Wii version though, it's all right. There are things I prefer in the Wii version over the HD, such as shorter levels and a better final boss fight. And as for Colors... I'm actually not that big on Colors. You would think that taking out the night stages from Unleashed in favor of having more daytime-like stages would be a net-positive and work Colors. For most Sonic fans, it definitely does, but not for me. I am of the opinion that as long as something is fun enough play, I don't care if it goes against what Sonic is known for. And I think that Unleash's night stages (in the HD version) are fun enough to play, thanks to a combo system that's just robust enough to keep things interesting the whole way through. Not to mention, the night stages emphasize tight platforming and exploration, which the daytime stages mostly neglect in favor of blasting through straight paths and set pieces. So when you have a game like Colors that only retains the daytime stage structure for its levels, you basically take out of a lot of variety in the gameplay department. Now yes, you have the wisps to help shake things up a bit... but I don't think they do enough. Colors has great music, but that's the only thing I truly love about it. To me, the rest of Colors just... meh. So yeah, I definitely have a different opinion than most people who have played both Unleashed and Colors. 1:34:33 I really love Nicktoons: Globs of Doom. I genuinely like it more than the other three games in the series. It has an interesting set up for the story, and the music is FANTASTIC. I implore you to listen to the soundtrack at some point after you decide play it. Legitimately, Globs of Doom has GOT to have one of the most underrated soundtracks for any game I've ever played, and that's saying a lot. Not to mention, Globs of Doom also has a plenty of great and obscure references to the shows that are represented. Now, I never had Globs of Doom for the Wii as a kid... but I DID have it for PS2, which was how I got to experience it. I really like Creature From the Krusty Krab as well. I never had the Wii version, and should probably count myself lucky there, because I never hear good things about that version's motion controls. I actually didn't know that Creature From the Krusty Krab was the first SpongeBob game that Japan ever got, so thanks for that fun fact. As for the game in general, I have quite a bit of fun with it, thanks to the sheer variety in the gameplay department. CFKK never becomes stale for me, and it's great. It also has an underrated soundtrack that I really like. Not as much as Globs of Doom's ost, but it's still joy to listen to. And well... I just like the weirdness that embodies CFKK. It's such a strange game at times that I can't help but bask in its vibes. Aside from CFKK and Globs of Doom though, I haven't played any of the other games shown here that feature SpongeBob, but I heard a lot about each of them. 1:56:08 Wario Land Shake It... Man, it's such a treat to eyes with its graphics. Truly one of, if not, the BEST looking 2d game for the Wii when it comes to its anime-styled cutscenes and gameplay. Out of every Wii game I can think of, I want Shake It to get some kind of remaster the most; it's a gorgeous game. But yeah, you should start with the Mario Land games first, then play Wario Land 1, and kind of work your way up from there. All of them make up a pretty fun journey from beginning to end.

An excellent console, and a very nice library. I didn’t mean to collect ps4, but because of VR and also the ps5 playing all the stuff, I still buy ps4 games. I recently got a Psvr 2 but sadly MOST games do no port over and no one is gonna have two headsets set up at once. I got 4 PlayStation hits because Amazon dropped them to 10 one black Friday.

So I don't personally have an issue with you using mods, even to make the game easier. Half the reason to play this game is the modding scene imo. But I do believe that the longer day setting is perhaps a little too high right now for the beginner moons. For the intermediate and advanced moons, sure you're gonna need all the help you can get. But these early moons I feel like you could easily lower the setting to .75 or even .8 and still have plenty of time to clear the facility.

You should definitely play the other 2D Metroid games. They’re great. I’d recommend starting with Super and NOT later games, because QOL and controls will make it harder to go back. Super is phenomenal. Fusion is good, zero mission is great and Dread is incredible.

On an unrelated note this video is a perfect representation of why Vow is my least visited moon in the game. Beginner level loot but with an Intermediate number of entities spawning.. unlike Assurance which is all reward very little risk Vow is all risk very little reward. Also are you going to be playing with any gameplay enhancing/changing mods besides stuff to make it more fair to solo players? Specifically mods that add new moons, enetities, interiors, or gameplay features? I think it might be fun to see your blind reaction to stuff you've never seen before

There's a few minor inaccuracies in this video, which as a veteran myself I feel the need to correct. But I have elected to conceal them for those who don't want the magic of this game to be ruined by learning the mechanics. 1. Entities do not have weight in LC. So they can stand on the rickety bridge indefinitely without breaking it, yes even Giants and Old Birds. It's even possible for Old Birds dormant bodies to spawn on the rickety bridge and thus prevent the use of it. 2. The Eyeless Dog is the only entity in the game thus far that can hear your microphone. While most entities (save the Thumper and Forest Giants as a well as a couple others) can hear your footsteps or you dropping or picking stuff up or using keys or the like but the eyeless dog specifically is the only one that can hear your microphone. There is a popular mod that 'fixes' this issue and I highly recommend using it if you want to play the game with friends, really rachets up the paranoia.

5:45 This game's issue with sound quality was something that I did notice as a kid, but more in the sense that I could notice a difference from every other licensed kids game I had on PS2, rather than knowing for a fact that it was a production problem.

The Witcher 3 is a very good game in my opinion. You have a story that lasts for around 60+ hours, as well as a ton of side quests and other activities. It is pretty boring at the start, but once you open up the other maps, you will have a lot to do. There is also a card game in it known as gwent, which is a turn based game. Overall, this is a fantastic game and it is more fun if you get the DLC.
