I walk in my sleep, I have my whole life, but I will occasionally walk and eat in my sleep. 👀 I am not overweight, and exercise regularly. I can’t figure out why I do it :/.

I have had diabetes now for nearly 40 years and I have learnt anything in moderation. I am no newcomer to this disease. I grew up with it. I had it. My father had it and my sister has it in the past I have been ridiculed. I have been made fun of and I've even lost jobs because I have diabetes I decided to give the medical profession. Something to think about as I had in my younger years an HGV licence. I thought it was great when they told me I couldn't and I told them diabetes runs its life around me. I don't run my life around diabetes

I have had this problem for over 20 years. It started in my teens - I’m now 42. Countless times I have woken up feeling so sick and so knackered, I can barely piece together the day. Often, I wake up with a start, gasping, and I’m in a big panicky state, and I immediately go down to eat. Last night was more normal; I woke up three times from about one hour post falling asleep and ate, in total, 7 pieces of bread, butter, honey and jam. This is an emotional/psychological issue, and it then also becomes a ground in habit. I have managed to curb it before but it takes a great deal of will power and consciousness at the point at which you wake up. It’s very hard. I so sick of it, I am going to go and sort out a sleep study today. I know we can fix or at least I’m prove this. Let’s do it

Got rid of this by going on keto, morning walks in sunlight and taking melatonin/magnesium at night. This information is nonsense and I’m sick of the mental health ‘experts’ always making mental health the cause of everything. You really think I’m waking up out of a deep sleep, walking to the pantry, devouring a family size bag of chips and barely remembering it to distract myself from emotions at 4am? Absolutely insane. I think the relationship to depression/emotions is probably due to irregularities in blood sugar. There once was a time when the medical community thought mood disorders were a function of blood sugar irregularities. I think thats a huge part of it. Some people are just more sensitive to this so blood sugar drops at night, cortisol levels rise and you have to eat to get your blood sugar up and stress hormones down to go back to sleep. Go on keto and you have no more swings in blood sugar. Morning walks in sunlight helps set your circadian rhythm. Melatonin/magnesium will help you sleep more soundly. Problem solved. I only take advice from people who’ve actually had the condition they treat. I’ve found more help on Reddit from anecdotal experiences than from the so called ‘experts’.

I Have NES. I was neglected as a child and left without food for days. I’m sure this is the root cause of this for me. The only solution I’ve found is to padlock the refrigerator (and all the crackers and anything edible from the shelves must go in the fridge at night) and give the key to my husband who sleeps with the key in his pocket. If you have NES, this is the only way to stop it 100%

I am 65 years old and have had Type 1 for 43 years. I have smoked since I was 14 or 15 and have no intention of quitting. Doctors have warned me about it and what they say goes in 1 ear and out the other. For the last 4 years I have lost feeling in my feet and legs and walk with crutches. I think soon I will be in a wheelchair/scooter and it all has to do with smoking. I do not want to quit so I am slowly dying and that is very welcoming. I've known Jesus for over 30 years and I look forward to be with Him, I hate it here and have nothing but death to look forward to and I long for it. Some day it will happen.:)

LOL, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest in Volpstein's Erections at Will, it's so much simpler and potent now!

For Dr. Bernstein to say that we have canine teeth is a travesty. The human mouth is for the eating plants, particularly grains and tubers. Anyone who talks about glucose spikes should also mention slow carbs. But he does not, which is intentionally misleading.

This is extremely inspiring for me. I am and have been a type one diabetic for about 6 years now and am starting to want to enlist more and more but keep reading that I will not be let in. Seeing this has made me a little more hopeful. I need to get my diabetes in control tho before I can try anything because I am terrible at it even after 6 years. I hope anyone with the same intentions with diabetes, seeing this or not, can get their diabetes in control and achieve their goals/dreams just like this man did

This lady follows the guidelines for the American diabetes association which is in no hurry to find a cure. Type 2 diabetes can be cured with a low carb diet. The American diabetes association is in bed with big pharma and the world health organization and the cdc wake up people.
