Where can I buy a dipstick tube for 97 VW Rialta.

I'm purchasing a QD model that has received your premium service, but actually prefer the HD model. I'm wondering how easy it is to remove the two front seats? Is there any remnants of the base once you do that? I realize it would probably not be practical to try to relocate the kitchen due to the plumbing, but putting in an additional counter and chair up front is my plan for now. I'm sure if I had children or traveled with more people this particular floor plan would be ideal. I bet the hd floor plan is probably the most popular, but really don't know for sure. I also appreciate this video as 9 years old, but people are still buying these and they still seem as popular as ever.

Beautiful. I purchased a 2002 QD Last week in Florida. Very rare here. I had one several years befrand loved it so much. However, I have forgotten how to turn 2 nd row seats into bed . I have watched several ideos, but alas none that address this function. Help please? And TIA

Might Consider: just installed the adaptors to tran. I waited to put the hoses on made screwing in banjo bolts piece of cake......no doubt .....wondered about torque on banjo, but they just bottom out on the bottom oring also, pull all hoses and wires out of the way with electrical wire to get better access and he is right the oem cooler just moves to the side did not add oil yet next time and then run to level at spec. temp. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP THIS GUY IS GOOD tx

Very good information - I leveraged much of the wisdom expressed by Tx Pigeon in retrofitting my Eurovan MV VR6 with the cooler. I completely evacuated the engine coolant as the initial task to ensure no transmission contamination with coolant and removed the transmission heat exchanger with its two rubber hoses intact which greatly facilitates removing the exchanger. Spraying all the rubber hoses in this area with a good rubber preservation helps lubricate the hoses and easy removal of the exchanger from the cramped engine/transmission area. I did not employ the plastic barbed fitting and removed the heat exchanger engine coolant fittings with the following two fittings; (1) 1.25 inch OD Fuel Filler - Butt Connector Splice 32mm (ss) Filler Neck Supply Company & (2) brass 1"x1" 90° PEX SharkBite Elbow UC260LF [Lowe's]. Stainless Steel T-Bolt clamps were used to ensure no leaks with the new fittings in the engine coolant system. A 'ScanGauge' OBDII unit provides an accurate and immediate display of the transmission fluid temperatures (among many other parameters) and the benefit this external cooler provides to the longevity of the transmission.

Seems like nice unit but needs some modernization. needs refrigerator with freezer. Old tv needs to go and be replaced with 22 inch led tv in front. Larger one in back. Bluetooth, solar, Wifi . Still the Rialta is the nicest Class b layout ever. Will probably get a low mileage late model with 24 valve V6. Would also like to see tankless hot water , and cassette toilet option.

Those hose clamps are for larger hose not 3/8 ish trans cooler hoses 😢 Pretty good install vid other than those terrible hose clamps lol

This is *my* idea of what a motorhome should be. It's small enough that one can drive it anywhere most larger motorhomes wouldn't dare go, and park most places a much larger motorhome couldn't park.

I have a 1999 EVC. This is a V6 12 valve and has an Ignition module that is pretty much in the way. Luckily enough it is held in place with just four 5mm Allen bolts, and is then easily moved out of the way. I also wanted to remove the starter to create more working room, but it seems impossible to reach the upper bolt of the starter without dropping the whole engine on the driver side. I hence did drain all the coolant and disconnected a bunch of coolant hoses to get the desired working room. Apart from that, I followed all 8 video's that Duane and co created. I love the floor plans of the Rialtas. Would probably go for QD. Need to add several things. Solar panels, inverter, wifi booster , flat screen TVs fron t and rear. Fridge with freezer in QD. Tankless hot water, back up and on the go cameras, if possible black tank flush. Surprised nobody has added pop top.

All will need upgrades for Bluetooth and TV, dvd, wifi.would add backup camera, fridge with freezer. Nobody ever mentions capacity of hot water heater and if it could be converted to tankless. Solar and inverter would be nice. Still a nicer floor plan than most current class b models today. I might look for a low mileage one to upgrade

I wish you'd have shown the toilet and shower kit.

I also love the decoration you see on the exterior of the Rialta. Although merely that, decoration, it does make it more attractive than it would otherwise. Like anything exposed to the elements, it eventually wear and needs to be replaced.

Logically looking at this, I think removing the seats behind the drivers will make it more liveable.
