Seeing them in 2024

I had the privilege of seeing Metallica jam live back in 1992 at the Tucson Convention Center, Tucson, AZ. It was their Forever We May Roam tour, highlighting the iconic Black album just released the year prior. Tickets were a whopping $22 back then and around $45 for the Snake Pit fans, which I was lucky enough to stumble upon being a fan club member. What an amazing show! They had three separate encores, each encore had multiple songs, seven total if my memory serves correct, and finishing with Stone Cold Crazy! Metallica was soaring and at the height of their careers in the early 90's. That's when they played to over a million and a half screaming fans at the Monsters of Rock tour in Russia! They're still going strong today, but unfortunately, so are their ticket prices. Gone are the days of $22 tickets. You can expect to dish out at least $800, and possibly up to $4K for the coveted Snake Pit experience.
