i want to get a PC but my budget is extremely tight and with my future plans (i’m currently a HS senior and i’m either going to college or moving in with my dad to work with him and do college online) idk how much time i’ll have to game, so sticking with my console might seem better to just hop on and play hassle free. plus i don’t really have to worry about the online fee, for one most online games i play are free anyway so they have their own servers. for two my friend is game sharing his ps plus with me so i can access all of that stuff for free. thanks dominic 🙏

Hi. Looks like those are to be placed behind furniture like the unit etc and can be sync’d with the box to add additional lighting separate from the TV.

@arcadespawn My computing device Mac Mini M4 Pro also has all USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports. USB-A is pretty archaic these days , so I am shocked to note that at this premium pricing, the BenQ Halo screenbar has a USA-A connector ! If that's indeed the case, it's rejected for me. Don't know what BenQ was thinking but they have to be pretty dumb to use a USB-A for a premium screenbar.

Im switching to pc. I actually think console gaming is better all said because of games being optimized. I’ve played on pc before and am going back. However, even if my over all gaming experience is lower, for me all my games being in one library is just a must. So I’m now sticking with steam or nothing else. I just can’t take switching platforms completely every time I game it never feels like my “spot” anymore.

Thank you!! I think the main things to consider are what game(s) do you want to play on it, and what resolution? Then look at some benchmarks for those games. £600 might be a challenge though!

£600 for a pre-built is low, you'll get a potato and regret spending the money. £600 on the 2nd hand market *could get you a decent entry 1080p machine, but It takes time, and you'll have to build it yourself.

Pc gaming is cheaper then console now you can build a pretty decent pc for $600-$700 and no online fee imagine $700 ps5 pro + 1 year of ps+ $120 basic sub fee for a year is $820(doesnt include a stand,another controller and more storage since its all digital). pc gaming is a hell of a lot cheaper now thanks to the ps5 pro🤣

The utility of gaming on PC is it's non-specialised nature if you configure it to an acceptable budget as you've pointed out. I've known console owners who rely on laptops over desktop machines so the affordability of them is a factor - anyway a great balanced video that seems well informed from an experienced long term user of all platforms.

As someone who owns all consoles and the highest end pc (7800x3d. 10tb of nvme ssd, 4080 super, 128 gb of ddr5 ram etc) they are both great in their own right. I play my pc the most. Recently got rid of my Xbox as I’ve used it once or twice since the launch of the series x. Ps5/my new ps5 pro gets a great amount of usage. And the Nintendo switch oled only gets used like once every 3 months lol. IMO for most people. A base ps5 and a good pc is the perfect combination
