My guess gas engines, needing work or replacement… prepare for another $20k in repairs and upgrades… and replacing the girly, non nautical teal blue ugly drapes… what an eyesore!

I'd be much more worried about rotted stringers. These old Carvers are well known for it and a lot bigger expense.

The radar still works or just fills the hole in the dash. I hope they drilled drain holes in the bottom of the case.

I cannot work out why people use wide angle lens ,as all it does is distort the picture and give a completely stuffed up size of the boat,DUMB ,DUMB AND DUMBER

These boats bug me in an almost good way. Carver is a pretty good boat. These make good use of space but man they're so ugly Im not sure I could get over it.

Leaving an unprotected boat out in the weather has tattle-tale signs you can't buff out, indicative of likely neglect in the engine room - particularly since it's not shown.

Most know a boat this size rarely has diesels and this age definitely has a bunch of hours on 454s so yes.

It is a beautiful yacht, I do not understand why brokers don't pull out all of the owners personal possessions off the yacht before they show it. All these awful rugs etc just make the boat look cramped and cluttered.
