I want a drying aid solely to make my towel glide to prevent marring, not to actually help dry. Bsd is unfortunately grabby, ssw is not particularly slick but ok, most quick detailers may reduce the hydrophobicity if the lsp is particularly hydrophobic like ssw..

Seems like a nice product, but it costs 24,50 € for 500 ml in Greece which is extremely expensive. Carpro darkside costs 14,50 € for 500 ml. Nice test as always.

It as a strong sealant. I used it a few months ago as a clay lube cut 1:100 on my trunk lid. I left it on the panel for 5 weeks and it was still beading before i finally polished it with Labo's feiro and a yellow polishing pad. Because of the light swirls.

One thing I have learned with Idrosave is to pre spray one panel, then wash the one panel, then dry the one panel otherwise you can have a problem with the sealant that is very strong. Excellent product

What about residue control? I get it: The residue is reusable, but will the residue have the same amount of cut, since the EX0406 is diminishing abrasives? And what about clear coat residue in the pad?

Indeed. And if we want to make it even more complicated, I use the same amount of soap in a 500ml in MTM foam canon and 1000ml in MJJC pro, I get the same results since MTM flow is much lower over the MJJC so I need less liquid to cover the whole car.

Chemgroup 1:1900 car shampoo is very good cheap and ph neutral 😊

The real problem is when a professional detailer uses a ceramic spray sealant and then trys to pass it off as a ceramic coating to the customer.

Saying a ceramic coating comes in a small bottle in a solvent solution, the solvent could be ipa? A local company (white label) has a ceramic sealant that states 75% ceramic. It is not water based, but alcohol based. Is it true? Is it possible? I don`t know any other company or any source that has 75% product

no fence to swiswax but their name echos in the same level with CG or AD. Extremely expensive and did not meet claimed expectations

Really interesting, even though the word polish has different meanings to different people which is really tricky. Just about to machine polish for the first time, will use a DA, but the tiny machine is probably a rotary for doing the tighter parts of the car. What are the different techniques may I ask? 😊

Well this has helped my German no end 😂. “Polish” has to be the Key word. I wax/protect my car regularly. I rarely polish (machine), like you said, every time you do it you remove clear coat. One of my first jobs, the client asked whether the car had been polished, I said no. (It was booked in for a simple clean and protect, not a polish.). They seemed disappointed, Hindsight says they probably meant a wax, which I had applied, but I got hung up on the word polish. We Live and learn.

Do any of you guys know why when I tried to apply the same wax on my bmw f30 black (very soft paint) it left an ugly pattern behind, like a stain. I tried to change the way I was applying the wax, with the sponge wet or dry, in circles or straight lines, I tried even with a microfiber towel, but it was leaving the same stain behind, after wiping off the wax. 😕

Beadmaker isnt for longevity, people treat it as a spray topper/detailer.

It's not actually a wax ,it is a sealant.i use it on my trophy winner black MK4 golf GTi. It's a great product.

So is there a way to remove bead maker? I love this experiment
