Great first reaction! Nice to hear a knowledgeable reactor, that´s what we need more of. What to do next? - Pro quality audio at their super show Teatro Metropolitan 2022, a good start is “DUST TO DUST” but all songs are great and available individually at their youtube channel. Look forward to the next one.

Misa said the two bands grew close during their week together, but her and Ale spent a lot of time talking during the last day and when The Warning left Misa said she missed her little sister Ale. From interviews they said Kanami wrote the song and Miku wrote the lyrics though Dany said they were allowed to tweak it a little under the supervision of Kanami, The Overseer. They said they did it this way because of time constraints, but they are hoping to meet up in Mexico in the future and continue their collaboration. Dany said she wants to see if they can possibly do a song in Spanish this time. Thank you for checking out my two favorite bands and two special bassist, I like them all but being a bassist myself I’m a bit partial.

Dani from the warning normally sings in a lower register. This track was co-written by both bands so there are elements of both group's sounds. Also all the members of both group gets their own turn at a small solo. Ale, MISA, Dani, Kanami, Akane and then Pau. Miku (Vocal/rhythm guitar) is the centre of the sonic stage supporting both the vocal melody and the back beat with her guitar.

The Warning speak fluent English, having grown up in a bilingual school environment. Only three of their 60+ songs are in Spanish. They've been playing music all their lives since Pau was three and Dany was five. Ale started when she turned five, on piano, then picked up bass at seven. (!) Their Dad sold his motorcycle to buy them instruments. The story of their development is heartwarming. I own all their CDs, and as will many others, swear that they have no bad songs among them. They also write to the story of the song, so while you know you are listening to The Warning, you can't say one song sounds very much like another. They do ballads and bangers with influences from rock, hard rock, metal, jazz, classical, big band swing, K-pop, J-rock, punk, funk, country, and on and on and on!

If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. The girls grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV. The kids all learned classical piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they rarely do covers anymore. They are as good as, or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch. Their first two albums were crowd-funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense. These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24. They sold out their Spring tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're also back from Japan and a stint in L.A. for the launch of their new album, on to Europe for festivals, and headed on to Canada, the USA, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for two dates next February. Their fourth album, *Keep Me Fed,* arrived June 28, and they performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before. They were on MTV Push during July. They played Pol'and'Rock and Wacken Open Air festivals in Europe before many tens of thousands of fans.Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity. Welcome to a deep, deep, 11-year-old rabbit hole.

We may never know for sure but I think Misa may speak the best English of any Band-Maid member. She doesn't say much but when I have heard her say something in English it is phrased correctly and easy to understand.

IIRC Band Maid members wrote the initial draft then The Warning polished it. Then when The Warning went to Japan for a several concerts including 1 with Band Maid the met to rehearse and further polish the song and make the OMV. One heck of a collab! ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥🤘🤘

So sorry to hear about your job, I'm going through something similar myself. I hope it works out for you with a better job you feel more fulfilled in! May I suggest checking out either Disciple or Dust to Dust live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. Both are great songs, but also have Paulina (Pau) singing lead for at least a few parts. The Warning Army is a great fan base, similar to Maidiacs in their loyalty and love for the band, and they will help you grow your channel!

As an introvert myself, I can see why Misa and Ale bonded so well. Trust it earnt, especially among us. And when it hit of it's a friendship for life! Both of them are pretty goofy backstage, but also serious. So when they speak, the other listens. There is a reason why there is a red line going through both fandoms. Some discovered TW through B-M and vs. Though there are some bad apples, and wants to make some kind of rivalry, I believe most have respect for each other, and both bands.

*The Warning* has a classic rock sound, with some songs going towards metal, grunge, punk, nu metal, new wave, and other genres. They even have a concept album, _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ about a girl going from desire to obsession, stalking, murder, and then a battle against her evil side for her soul.

W I N !!!!! 🎀 W I N !!!⚡I think we can just say, at their level, Band-Maid and The Warning are equal peers at the very top of the "Rock" pile. I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Yo! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔

Does the drummer sing? LOL She's as good as Dany but excels on a different sort of song. Check out 23, Dust to Dust, Survive, and the Teatrro Metropolitan version of Narcisistsa, where she leaves the drums to a friends and comes out front to sing. I believe that for the kind of hook rock they do, they are the best on Earth right now. Bsnd Msid's project is different and are the best at what they do. Now some things not to expect with TW: guitar solos, drum solos, or songs longer than 3:30 or 4:00 minutes. Their fans don't go to concerts hoping to hear solos or long songs. They'd rsther hear 15 songs in s concert thsn 10 songs with extended solos.

@@YoMota Dust to Dust is another fan favourite performance kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXScepWNjtCcptU. Pau belts out the song while also belting the drums. Ale plays a killer bassline throughout that carries and propels the melody. And wait for a surprise by Dany at the end. All this at the 7000ft altitude of Mexico city.

The Warning's music has a way of lifting you up - sounds like you found them at the right time. And yes, many of us go from "never of them" to "never stop listening to them"! Maybe check out The Warning's public start, their cover of Enter Sandman when they were quite young? Doesn't have to be a reaction, but gives a baseline of how they performed at that age. You will want to do a reaction at some point of their remake of the song along with Alessia Cara!

Had to watch the Show Me reaction first and then this. It is truly enjoyable to see people's first hearing of The Warning. You have found a rabbit hole which I'm sure you will very much enjoy. Even going deep to their covers of AC/DC , GnR , Crue ,Metallica and Foo Fighters to name a few. Looking forward to you learning MORE (lol) about them. Find some inner peace with your time off. Remember things will work out in the long run. TWA will let you know what to listen to next. For me what sold me on them were their TedX talks appearances. After watching Enter Sandman cover from 12 yrs ago and Pretender cover, seeing them speak about their love and passion for music gave me the impression that they had the integrity of one of my favorite bands, Rush. And then to hear that Neil was a big influence for Pau, well they are my favorite band now. The past four years of following them has been much different from following bands in the past. They are unique. I better end my ramble, I could talk about The Warning all day.
