@@bikeempowerment sorry for the delay in response. I have been riding with a friend that is a beginner, knows his limits, and always thinks we have to try new trails. He wants "experiences", I just want miles. Anyway, we recently did powerlines, hopped off and took the 56 bike path back towards Sorento Valley. It was the weekend, and I told him we don't want to explore routes that the shredders want to be bombing down. I told him there are videos of the trails, we need to watch them, do our due diligence. I'll do tunnels with him at some point, but after his confidence and skills have progressed. I need to scour your video collection, and do some Google map work before I can best answer your question. I'll get back to you when I think I have the answer. Thanks again for making videos with thorough descriptions

Have you done Los Penasquitos North and South Side Trails? Sounds like what you guys are looking for. The water crossings are fun and a nice place to take a break.
@VeeVeeArcher10 күн бұрын
@@bikeempowerment we've done PQ north and south. We've done tecolote canyon, rose canyon, easier stuff at mission trails. We were thinking about Lopez canyon, and any trails there in the del Mar mesa area after powerlines that could suit his skills. I personally would prefer 80 miles of rolling gravel and dirt double track or fire road, away from cars. But we don't have that in the coastal areas of San Diego. You have great videos. You don't need to change a thing in my opinion. Keep having fun. That's all I'd ask.

If you listen to music, it’s in one ear only. This is common sense for bikers. There’s also bone conducting headphones which don’t block your ear canal.
