I think one of the most underrated song writing qualities Kurt had was not just the lyrics and melody BUT how placed the words and phrases within the riffs. I think its only when you attempt to both play and sing his songs you realises he good he was at this.

Pine Street was sick back then & earlier. Wipers, Theater of Sheep, Poison Idea, Ed Hall, Smegma, Nirvana, Butthole Surfers so many incredible bands to see. And only a small cadre of us knew about it…
