It would be great if you could make either the voice louder or the music quieter, because the music overlaps the voice a lot.

This subject is an example of situations where you DON'T need a mirror modifier. The primitive meshes used are already symmetrical down the long axis of the subject; you're not adding arms and legs, etc.

Just a quick tip for getting bolts/screws exactlty where want them: at 3:38 instead of trying to line up the bolt to the hole in the gun, select the gun mesh, go into edit mode, select the face you want the bolt to be directly ontop of (you can also select all the verts that make up the cricle but makesure to do them at the depth you want them, however you can play with the depth after) with hard ops, hit control and S, youll have a pie menu come up and youll see "3D cursor to face" (or verts/edges depending what mode you're in) once the origin is in the exact place, select the mesh you want to go there, hit control and s again and "move to 3d cursor" usually with offset. Seems alot when typed out, but super fast and easy to do with hard ops

@Jack3D-official I also noticed when you scaled the little bits on the grip (the grooves I guess? Idk what else to call them haha) you scaled them on yhe Z axis but by "median". If you press . (Not on your numpad, that will change your camera to rotate around the selected part, bonus tip 😉) and change the mode to "individual origins", it will scale them all accordingly to each face. That stops the mesh going under itself at any point (you can see it a little on the bottom and top loops when you scaled them down) Not making a dig at all or trying to be overcritical, you've clearly got a great understanding for shape and form (arguably the best skills to have when modeling), just wanted to help a little bring your models standard even higher. Good video and great explanation, keep it up bro 👌

@@Jack3D-official just in case it happens to someone else... spacebar did work but when i go to edit mode to erase the faces, my cube appears like there's no cuts. so i can only delete the "original" faces. I had to apply the modifiers to be able to erase the right faces. Maybe you have another solution? I can still continue the tutorial but i thought i would comment again just in case there's a non destructive way that i don't know about. :)
