So I am trying my best to go where he goes and do whatever he tells me because I believe he is the Way, Truth, and Life and that no one goes to the father except through him (cf. John 14:6).

Beautiful to hear you are on the journey of discipleship as well. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you and to grant you the faith to believe in the work God is doing to lead his children back to him. It certainly does take faith at times to see how our faith helps the world. However, Faith is exactly that… hoping in what is not seen. It points us beyond the world and death. I like to look to Christ on the cross and trust in his promise of mercy. For that is the most powerful sign of love! It is important to remember The Church does not exist for social justice alone but is the bride of Christ who receives the offering of his body and sacrifice. We relive this at every mass! Amazing! The more we can learn to receive Christ’s offering, mercy, and love, the more we can be his presence and body on Earth. The sacraments are some of the visible signs of invisible and spiritual realities going on. This is the gift of the Church and why we must receive them often. For example, reconciliation is a powerful sign and opportunity to receive God’s love and mercy! Anyway, Just a few thoughts. Thank you for your honesty and commitment to the journey of following Christ! Peace be with you my friend 🙏🏼
