THE greatest moment in all of sports - in my 70+ years. Couldn't have a better role model. A highlight in my life was that when my kids, both runners, were young I told them about Billy Mills. One day, my son called me from college, where he was a runner. And when I answered the call, the first thing he said was "Dad, guess who I just met?" I had no idea. "Bill Mills" he said with great excitement. What a great closure for him to have heard of Mr. Bills for a long time through middles-school and high school and then Mr. Mills gave a talk and showed the video (this one) during his talk. And for my son to meet him - Doesn't get better than that.

I've been playing on and off since the 80s, Savoy Brown and Jeff Beck were a big influence for me, but I was raised in the middle of all kinds of jazz and blues guys. Lightning is the Top One in my book.
