Its great that they can take the mick out of each other. The famous line "that tosser who fell off the quad bike". Hahaha

I'd forgotten how funny Bottom was. It was a shame there was not more of them. Ade and Rik made a great comedy duo.

Whilst 4 and 5 are deffo not peak bottom I often forget how many good jokes there are in both shows and how it’s still better than most modern comedies. I went to see 2001 and 2003 as an underage teenager which felt really special! I remember proudly wearing my bottom 2001 tshirt on a year 9 school trip and the teacher saying “is that really appropriate?!” My only gripe with the final two shows is the pants song.. it’s not really funny and don’t understand why they repeated it. Will always love Bottom ❤

i still can't believe Riks gone, the bastard! but I'm sure he was saying to the grim reaper "I can't go yet! i need to have a party with all my great mates and the birds with their knockers wobbling about the place like they're going out of fashion!" where ever you may be Rik, I miss you even though I never met you. You will always have a place in my heart and I'll never miss the chance to watch Bottom non stop like I did when I was a kid grrrrrr great days. RIP Rik

What fantastic stage presence, both were certainly at home on the stage, it takes a certain confidence and skill to be able to get a rise from a crowd with just a look... What great sadness it was losing Rik so early, I can only imagine what great comedy and shows we all missed out on. Ade has spoken of not only the sadness of losing Rik but also of his trouble dealing with Riks illness beforehand as his mind had lost a few steps, he apparently "kept repeating doing another tour" or possibly a show while he was losing his mind due to his illness. It's always so sad when we have a comedy duo as great as these when one goes far to soon. Ade is an extremely talented fellow and no doubt will be busy if he chooses to be, I'd love to see him movies or TV shows, I so fondly remember drop dead Fred, this movie was absollutely brilliant, I'm not sure how it went down in the movie world but it was great for him to him to get to showcase his talents to the American audience, not that I think they would be able to appreciate him but I think the movie was well out together as to please that extremely strange crowd..anyways I digress, god bless, and RIP Rik Mayall, i hope Ade lives in forever, i wilo certainly be passing the torch to my kids when I think they are opd enough to enjoy it kike we did as kids, from the young ones, the dangerous brothers, The new statesmen, and that other one i cant remember where they played a rock group and hen a bunch of sales reps, if anyone can remember the name of that show pls leave a reply, thats if anyone has even read all of this...goodnight x

completely understand the choice of staying or evacuating, but surely why stay when the warning from officials advised just how bad it would be, moreso a danger to life and put the emergency services lives in danger?? It doesn't make sense.
