The STP car is Jo Siffert's car in serial number only. Probably the only part of his car that remains from 1971 is the chassis from the roll bar back. Everything else is from other cars or is new. The chassis was "Repaired" and a "Period Correct" engine and transaxle were installed. The car was painted in a "Color faithful to the original." Meaning, no one knows what shade of red the real color was. $3,000,000 for a serial number and assembly of Porsche 917 parts. Tall roll bar and headlights? Really?

Fantastic video I'm sure it's nostalgic for some. Awesome to see the rare to see both iterations of the Mclaren F1 race cars on the same track (Long tail and standard) and very rare to see Venturi atlantique 600 LMs. Very important era of racing just like the group c classes before it.
