In Canada, signs with a yellow background are deemed as a warning or a "be advised you should do this/watch for this" but not legally binding. Sharp corners on a road will often have these signs with a "recommended speed".

it might also have to do with better visibility the same reason why registered plates in UK are yellow in the back, in a cloudy country as UK yellow is better to visualize than white

Wow those signs are hard to see one is in the bushes ... I wonder how many accidents you have on that roundabout with riders on the left wanting to go straigt ... Nice video!
