Being too cold is uncomfortable, but being too hot is even more uncomfortable. I can always add layers to keep in some warmth but you can only take so much off to stay cool.

For anyone that is starting to get too hot due to a broken AC and you are waiting to get it fixed then change into a bathing suit, moisten a towel, sit somewhere you don’t mid getting a little wet and point a fan at the towel. Remoisten towel as needed.

I live next to Australia's worst drain plumber. he has been deregistered from doing any plumbing works for 2 years, but that hasnt stopped him from doing his own work, which after watching him tear out a sewage pipe, then 5 minutes later he crushed it and had to do it again, which he crushed again, leaked immediately and confirms for me atleast the nature of why he got banned,

Glad to see this. Just bought a new washing machine and their website recommends turning off the water while its not in use so I went and got a couple short ball valve turn offs and attached them right to the original valves and hooked the hoses to them. But should I really be turning off the water all the time ?

Hm, turning it off is just to help with wear or potential for something to go wrong in your washing machine and it would leak. If you are concerned about that, you could just turn them off when you are going to be away from your washer (not notice a leak) for an extended period of time. The valves are built to be turned off and on but like anything the more you use them, the more wear and tear.
