Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to rewatch this after so many years! Three notes at the beginning: 1. Can’t wait to see if my crush on Caspian has lasted! 😂 2. I don’t even like wine but somehow they make spiced wine sound like the most delicious thing and I’m so sad it isn’t for me haha! 3. I really need to capture the “A wind, sire! A wiiiiind!” clip so I can send it to people when I quote it all the time! 😂

Only five minutes in and it’s all coming back! 😍 The ship is GORGEOUS!! And Caspian just as handsome as remembered 😁 I also remember why this was always my favorite Narnia book - the spirit of adventure and exploring the unknown!! Wish I could have my own Dawn Treader!

Dude your aspect ratio is so fucking wack, i'm relying on a chrome extension to make it look legit. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so bad at remastering.

I've been lucky enough to visit most of the locations where this series was filmed. However, does anyone know where they filmed the castle ruins when they return to Cair Paravel in Episode 1 of Prince Caspian?

Watching this old favorite again, after revisiting the abysmal and horrendous newer 'adaptation'. This one is a breath of fresh air.

52:19 Why, what's the age limit to go to Narnia? Watching the Chronicles of Narnia BBC and Disney/20th Century Fox is an adventure for everyone of all ages.

All of them (bbc) are great tbh, and they did silver chair. We need BBC to recreate the film style and everything else, and make the missing 3 of seven books, magician's nephew, the horse and his boy & the last battle. I think they could honestly pull it off very well

It's such a shame that the soundtrack from the Voyage of the Dawn Treader isn't available anywhere. The most we have is 7 tracks on a CD with just one song from this episode. It's a beautiful score, and I wish the BBC would release the full version.

Imagine them making these books with the same detail, effort, and money as they did the LotR movies.. These could go down as historic

@@eugenew6717 It'll go from stupid fanfic (the Disney versions) to leftist barf-fest (Netflix). Just like we went from the LotR movies: really good, made with passion and skill; to The Hobbit:a farce and a failure, but some people liked it; to Rings of Power: hot garbage on a really expensive plate.

The first one wasn’t bad. It’s just that after the first one they stopped following the same story and started making up their own. Which sucked.

I’m so thankful for this remaster being available on KZbin, I have what I would imagine one of the earliest dvd releases of the bbc series in the states and when it comes time for the sea storm where the mast breaks, on my dvd that scene repeats itself on a loop once, as a kid I thought it was an attempt at stretching the runtime, but now I wonder if it’s a manufacturers error on my dvd?

It really bugs me how the BBC versions potrayed Lucy as a brunette when the books specifically described her as blonde. She was supposed to be the hero but they made her kind of a whiny, dumpy little thing.

Dawn Treader was always my favourite from this series. There was real jeopardy and the eery music still brings back memories to this day. The one scene that really changed me as a child was where Eustace comes to the realisation that he may be stuck as the dragon, alone on the island for the rest of his life. That concept really scared me as a young child and I had separation anxiety from my parents for about a year after seeing it.
