Nice! I was just watching this and the other plays you've done of my Christmas maps - very enjoyable! I noticed there are a couple you haven't played - you might have missed them because there was one year that pickle and I did Christmas maps but didn't release them together as a PickleTech pack. If you get a chance, you might want to check out Louisiana Christmas Day and Holiday in Jamaica. I also did Chiron Beta Prime, if you like funny Christmas songs! Happy holidays! BTW to answer your question below - I love all my Christmas maps but my two favorites are Jethro Tull's God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Meghan Trainor's I Believe In Santa. I also really like the ending of Louisiana Christmas Day. I haven't played many of other people's Christmas maps, but of course Pickle's are great. I particularly liked his Where Are You Christmas map - it's slow but has great feeling.

Ooh, look at me using upstrokes, I'm learnding (I was able to use all downstrokes in the first video because it was all on one string, but I couldn't do the low notes in that version because I was in drop D not BEAD) But not that much, as you can see, I almost walked off and reset the recording because I was thinking it wasn't good enough Also, bit of a coincidence that the shirt has a sun on it, I just wanted something to replace the guitar one I was going to wear (the washing machine put a hole in it 😢) Also also, turns out this song's actually about boxing, but it's up for interpretation

I'm glad you took the chance! Haley is my favorite singer of all time. I got to see her perform twice a couple of years ago and got to meet her briefly before one of the shows. She was super friendly and absolutely beautiful. I actually mapped four of her songs before I retired from mapping. Hope you like those too, when you get around to them. Also, for a real treat, check out her performing Creep, with Postmodern Jukebox. All of the songs she did with PMJ were just magic.

I'm so glad this didn't get taken down! I really enjoyed watching you play a bunch of mine and Pickle's Christmas maps. We always had such a great time putting together those Christmas and Halloween map packs. I don't know if you noticed, I caught the tail end of this when you were live. You had already played most of mine already, but you did end with the Grinch! Woohoo! BTW that Jethro Tull God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is probably my favorite or my Christmas maps (though I really enjoy them all). Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
@Janokins16 күн бұрын
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to you too! I thought I recognised your name in chat xD I do like yours and Pickle's maps (there's a few other names that keep coming up like Joetastic, Heisenbergirl, Ris - guess we have similar tastes in music), they're consistently good. I play a lot of maps and sometimes I feel like I'm taking a risk, these days I've stopped looking at the difficulty and started looking at the notes per second, that way I can avoid maps that are just hard for the sake of it. It does remind me I've got some maps of my own that I need to work on, but I know better than to announce what they are before they're ready :D
