Followed the instructions and fine tuned one of the pre-sets. Mixer in logic has all multi-out channels and the arrow on each AD track is selected. But I still cannot record any audio in Logic. I see the multiple signals but I just can't record audio on the software instrument track. Please help.

That's correct, you can't record what you hear in AD2 onto the instrument track. Have you tried dragging a groove from the BEATS page and dropping it onto the instrument track? This would be an instant buy if it was available for the iOS platform. Field recording, and creating beats on the move is key.

@@xlnaudio thanks for responding! The grooves that you already have are awesome... Even if you kept them and had 7 variations of each of those grooves would make this so much more useful. I don't know many producers that will just use 1 clip. I'm having to use other programs' drum loops or take your clips and make custom mods of each. Less work streamlines the work flow! Thanks again!

is there any way to import midi? I like the idea of making your own beat patterns, and then instantly being able to switch between sounds that are similar, but is there a way to import midi drum patterns? Let's say, for instance, I'm working on a baile funk track. Baile funk and many african drum grooves are pretty standard in their respective genres. I don't want to have to keep manually changing sequences if I already have a folder of midi. This would be a great feature

I've been a fan since AD1.I use AT too. XLN Audio are a loved company and are slick in operating their web and media as well as being trusted whole-heartedly. Never ever had a problem downloading or asking advice from their team. Thanks.Big time !

Me again.Today I ve programmed a FL + AddDr.2 session with purposes of rendering drums with this.At what level we should record our programmes drums? - 18dB ? Because I ve notice we have multiple options! How is best ?

This software is amazing!All I need is already there! The only thing I can do is just to resolve all I can inside vst since has all tools but after that just send it to separate tracks for bouncing in audio ! Keeping a recall session for midi and ad2 and I can pass to other track elements!😅❤

If i want to further render the individual tracks on a DAW .How i will be able to do it ? The sample like for each pics kit are stereo or mono ?

Each individual drum channel is a mono channel, then you have the stereo microphone pairs Overhead and Room (and the stereo Bus channel sometimes used). XO looks like a great too but it really needs to alow users to drag and drop files into the slots or import from the clipboard... I use splice to get my sounds and there's no fast way to just paste them on XO, that's the only thing stopping me from buying it

If you are having trouble figuring this out since there are multiple ways to achieve the same outcome. But if you go to www.tunebat.com or www.landr.com or www.emastering.com you can load any mp3 on the site it will tell you what key the song is in and the bpm plus you can have it use its AI mastering! www.lalalala.ai

Thank You for this Plugin. Previously I was using Izotope Vinyl 1.7, since they banned that version from internet I don't like the new version of Izotope Vinyl that sucks every-time i open it. Now that I encountered RC-20 Retro Color, I'd like to thank you guys for this.

Greetings! I have a question! Those 2 software.Lets say i capture the midi for all necesary kit and want to choose a kit that is constructed by you as a kit! Because i find nice only is made as a kit from manufacturer! Can i use kits already prepared?

Sure! In Addictive Trigger there are many "kit presets". For example if you like the preset "Fat and punchy" for the kick, you can also load "Fat and punchy" for the Snare and the Toms and they will sound good together. There is even a [SYNC] button that you can use to switch between kits in all instances at the same time. So does this work with real recorded drums, can you just put a little bit of a snare sample on the real snare track?

Yes! You can add Addictive Trigger to a real recorded snare track and trigger a snare sample for every snare hit. By adjusting the volume balance between the original recorded snare and the snare sample you can choose if you want to make a big or subtle difference to the track. When this file shows up on my desktop is it the original file or a copy of the sound?? I'm hearing people on Reddit saying that they messed up multiple sample packs because of this

If you do any sort of editing to a sample inside XO and then drag&drop it into your DAW, then you are working with a newly created copy that resides in your XO Export Folder. If you drag&drop an unedited sample directly from the XO space onto your desktop, you will create a copy of the original file on your desktop. If you drag&drop an unedited sample directly from the XO space into your DAW arrangement, that will have the same effect as dragging the sample from its original location on the hard drive directly into your DAW. What happens from there on depends on your DAW settings. If your DAW is set to automatically copy the file into your project folder, then you will be working with that copy of the sample. If your DAW is set to reference the file directly, then you are working with the original sample. I hope that clears things up. Amazing plugin i really love it and i ve been using ot for almost two years. I have a short question, Is there a way to control the pitch of each hit playback and not only for the whole pattern, for example i may want a hi hat to hit different tones and pitch in the right hand side pattern and not only one pitch for all of the sequence. Ok folks you cant trust any of these Music App Developers. Take XLN for instance who have their "Privacy: Gathering of usage information" checked box enabled by default. What this means is these crooks are already accessing your personal data and selling and distribute it the moment you install their app on your system without your consent (and possibly b4 the app is even installed. Upon trying to log out of the Xln online installer it says "CloudSync will not work if you are logged out" who the hell told XLN to sync a users data in the cloud to begin with or install anything on a users system related to the cloud.

I'd also like to request ability to lock selected samples while switching between presets. The beat combiner is good but there are soooo many great patterns in other presets that can be used for breaks and fills etc. Also, a lot of other drum machines and midi generators have the ability to store multiple patterns and have those triggered by midi. It would be great if XO had this too.

Hmmm 🤔 interesting outlook on producing, and even more interesting sample pack you have from this guy. I will definitely have to purchase XO. Oh btw I told my wife about XO, and what it does, she was impressed, especially with the “galaxy constellation layout of grouped percussion banks (she doesn’t deal with music, but she does deal technology and AI)

@@xlnaudio sorry, I’m an XO power user. I’m just looking for it to have more features than the ones it had when I first started using it. For example, having the ability to set the number of sequence steps, the ability to route each drum part to a different track in Ableton, etc.

Routing to separate tracks have been available since day one, I think this video might cover it well. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYjOdmxpoLqLrpI The short tutorial is: find and click the M in the right side of the settings for your slot. It has ®, a hyphen, an arrow, and the M, in a square grid. Click the M to reveal a drop down with options to route to multi out/separate tracks.

I love these type of percs and hi hats, realistic shuffle and realistic stereo gives great depth to a rhythm, ATEQ really mastered his ability to fine tune these parameters from experience and skill and also using vsts that are designed perfectly for his experimental workflow, he seems very in his zone in this video

Hi! Thanks for your plugins! XO, Life and RC-20 are some of the best plug-ins I've bought for my production. But there is one feature that I really want to see in Life. Life really lacks the built-in sample browser! I often use this plugin to rethink the created loops and give them new rhythmic patterns. BUT, transferring loops from an external browser to Life slows down the process greatly. If Life had the same powerful sample browser as in XO, or at least a simple sample browser that gives access to my folders on my computer, with the ability to listen to samples, Life would have become the best sampler (slicer) for me. I will be glad if my message is heard!))

Brilliant! I was thinking you should have added rolls to your drums packs, but this will do though. Time for that update already, you can add this to the packs instead of having to manually add the cymbals!!!!!!!

I've just bought the plugin. It's a great tool for sparking quick beats but needs a longer sequencer or ways to introduce variation. The beats become repetitive very easily. Is that in the works XLN?. You already implemented something for the Life plugin with the pattern variation, density, syncopation etc.., will that be ported into XO?

@@svorttsirhc1814 Addictive Trigger cannot separate a full drum stereo mix into separate audio tracks for each drum. But for some stereo mixes it could be possible to get Addictive Trigger to detect the bass drum and the snare and trigger from that.
