bros got those bowser throws down nice. It always ruins my runs EVERY time

forgot to comment this, but i actually did beat this time. 4 months ago, a 17:53, a 1 second difference. i always watched this vid for reference like 2-3 years ago, and it felt so good to finally get a sub 18 and barely beat this run. now obv, i did lakitu skip and bomb clip, but this vid shows how much more movement matters as opposed to strats. and amazing example run, BlueBob 💪

to answer the question in the thumbnail, i think in this run you must've died about 10 times to carpetless

I think i would take texture setup over carpetless at the end of the run. I feel like carpetless is enough of a margin more difficult that it outweighs the randomness of cannonless. its mostly just getting up there lol
@BlueBobsCinema6 ай бұрын
That's a good point for sure, I guess its overall more consistent on average too. My mind might be changed. What if you had to do the same movement as carpetless just to get to the cannonless trick?
@Terji6 ай бұрын
@@BlueBobsCinema in that case id take carpetless for sure

It took 6 months of grinding a few days a week, but I finally beat this with a 17:39. And yet I still have so much further to go. I used far more advanced strats than this run did and barely beat the time, which tells me I still have a lot of work to do on consistency and tightening up my movement.

I checked this out hoping to see some easy but good gameplay as I couldn't find a guide for 120 star. This still showed me a lot I didn't do yet, and not knowing how to perfect swim doesn't help lol

This is supposed to be "simple strats" but I cannot for the life of me hit the wall kick in Wild Blue. Is there an alternative strat, or different star that's a good option?
@BlueBobsCinema Жыл бұрын
Wild blue is one of the faster stars in the category so I'd recommend continuing to experiment with it. Biggest advice I could give is focusing on the camera setup so that you can do the sideflip with your up notch, hope this helps!

I have a 18:53 with the total beginner route, o dw reds and no logless, my sob is 17:08, my goal rn is mid 17, I know I’m capable of that, ive been in that pace before, after that I’ll do dw and logless for a 16, and after that ill go for lblj, doesn’t seem that bad right?
