The Stones are famous thanks to Mick Jagger, and they are a band thanks to Keith, Brian was only the driving force, unfortunately he died.

Just excellent. I really dig the folky arrangement presented by Fontana in this rendition. ❤️

I hope it takes you into the future! That is what my music is all about as the future is elements and what is learned of the past made 'fresh' by using the energies of to-day.

You can see who the alphas are (Brian and Mick) and aren't (Charlie, Bill) in the early Stones.

The first time I have seen this footage, and my goodness who is the most articulate and has a valid and measured opinion! it is Brian Jones. Okay the man went off the rails in later years, but I having a feeling that perhaps he suffered for this from within the group. A great talent, never mind the Hair!!!

Quelle belle chanson !

Brian formed the band, was its original leader but Mick & Keith had a connection years before and when manager Andrew Loog Oldham convinced them to become a songwriting team like Lennon/McCartney it was the slow beginning of the end for Brian who expert musician he was couldn’t form his own songs and was slowly being sidelined in his own band as the other two carved up the hit songs together.
