I have 5000 subscribers, but only get like 1500 watch hours right now as they do not count promoted video watch hours, so I get paid ZERo right now. My channel got 790,860 views in the last 28 days Seems almost impossible to just start getting monetized.

I JUST passed 3,000 watch hours in a year to join the partnership programme after over a year of trying. Things started out quite well last year but my views etc plummeted around last May/June and never really recovered. Thankfully my Christmas themed videos and some other shorter November videos seem to be doing a bit better so I think shorter and more focused videos will help. But I still don’t know why views that started out quite promisingly suddenly tanked. Hopefully they’ll pick up again this winter and I can finally get properly monetised as I’m still not close to 4,000 watch hours!

Another fantastic video Kayleigh. I don't really use Facebook because according to my analytics on KZbin the majority of my audience are between 18-45 years old and Female which isn't surprising because out of the 1%of the global population that are vegan most are Female and in the age range mentioned above. Most people under 25 and in the above age range don't use Facebook but those over 45 do. It seems professional to the audience. Unfortunately, after few videos no one addresses what the text is after the hashtag. For example: hashtagVenusianAliens In this case is the venusianAliens a photo file? is it a link? is it a video? is it a website? is it another photo in the same instagram account where the hashtag is? No one has addressed that so far. I am naive it when it comes to this. If you just want to direct to a group of subjects like Venusianaliens, wouldn't you just use a browser like Edge, Firefox, Google chrome or Safari? The reason I ask, other videos are saying that hashtags no longer work, stop using them. And then recently videos are saying Instagram has changed the algorithm thing altogether. I thought I made progress to find at least where to type hashtags, but with all these developments I am back to square one MINUS worse than when I thought I was about to really understand how this works.

I am wondering if my IG is shadow banned or something. I've sat at around 1700 followers for a year+ and I've been told I've often listed as spam on people's stories. Any idea how to fix this or do I need to start a new account?

I agree! 3 Videos a Week is a dumb idea. Videos are not easily made. It's not like you can record and everything is done. We have to work on editing, color corrections, thumbnail creation, etc. The problem I see is that people do not want to face the fact that luck does play a role in someone's success. Some videos get noticed in a single day; some take more time. Heck, I see some videos that were uploaded 20 or 40 years ago only to have 10 likes and 100 views. Then we have the fact that some people use the wrong title, or they use gibberish, along they never bother to uses Gategory pretty much preventing their videos be Discover. The problem is that everyone is thinking in the Random Suggestion on KZbin instead on the Search Engine Algorighm because people most often uses the Search Engine to look for a Video. For example if I'm looking for a Wink Waker HD Live-Stream; then KZbin Algorihm+Search will look through the entire Website and then show me all the videos that match my description, so if you want your Channel to Grow then make your videos more Searchable instead make it be discover by Random.
