My passat b6 2008, has also water underneath spare tire. So far I haven’t disasembled all trunk covers as you did in video That’s what i Am planing in the next couple of days. But i noticed that after heavier rain, when i pop up the trunk water is leaking from openings where bulbs Are located. My friend sugested that maybe Salingeru gasket on tail Lights is BAD, but he checked and That’s not the case. Have you any idea how water gets there ?

How did you removed the water from under the spare wheel plastic case?

Thnxs a lot yes coomon problem on these cars but more on BMW 1 series good info;) can also bee from boot middle of the car under the whhel on wall small thing rubber water can comes inn there too in the middle of 2:15 on video. its like see leaks from anywhere basic. example tec7 good too stop leak or another glue good too take new glues on these places yes and water test etc.

I have the same problem right now due to 2 stickers being damaged , where did you get those stickers for the small holes ?

i do not remember the red carts from personal experience but we were camping in medulin allmost every summer since 1997 and on an old vhs from 2000 or 2001 at the end of the tape my father drives off in such a cart. i was born in 2002
