Nerfing the pike was a mistake, It was balanced. It had good fire rate and good damage for the amount of ammo it held. Now it's just another underpowered weapon for medium.

It was too good though. It was punishing to fight and way too good at range. Going against a squad with all 3 running the pike was just a joke.

@@julio1148 Probably one of those really subtle things that show up in the data, where depositing cashboxes increases overall win % more than without it, and that % might end up being pretty significant. But I agree that when you can't feel it, you have to wonder if it will actually change players' strategies and behavior.

@@ChampyOnPC if they are able to keep the numbers in the 20's on PC it's pretty good, I think. Pretty sure the console playerbase is massive compared to PC as Nathan points out. That being said, I do agree that more than 20k should be playing this game on PC!

What does it mean, "the sniper rifle now had projectiles, not hit scan"? Does this mean you have to time your shots better because of airtime?

@@Raikuu91 yes, so think of it like the granade launchers, which are also projectiles, but faster ofc since it is a sniper. I didn't get to try the sniper at a long distance so I have to test it more when the season releases to get a better feel of it.

Yes exactly. If you ever played battlefield you know how it will works. You have to lead your shots and aim slightly above the head on long distances. So it's not a hit scan anymore. Inside of the finals you can compare it with the KS but of course way faster. Some creators also said that this change is not really remarkable in close to medium distances you just feel it on really far distances. It is a try to go against the massive amount of snipers in Powershift, Terminal Attack and to avoid sniper lights playing way to far away from their team in cash out up to the point where they are no help when the other members die. It still is possible of course but you need more skill now
