Thanks for sharing this. Why did you use different types of webbing? Was there any reason or just because that's what you had?

Great video but instead of the music, which is not easy to listen to for that whole time, I would have liked to just hear you comment once in a while about what you are doing.

You didn't center the fabric pattern on the chair?? why?
@carolinehouston62699 ай бұрын
Dommage de ne pas avoir centré les motifs, le tissu est plus tendu d'un côté et en traditionnel c'est bien plus beau mais beaucoup plus difficile à faire ;-)

Hi! So I couldn’t tell if tacks, brads or staples were loaded into that nail gun, great video but definitely could have used some follow along commentary. Thank you!

Great job in showing how simple this process is. Could you also please list the tools used to complete this project? Thanks.

Only thing is the webbing and is it cardboard strips? It does t say what it is and where do you get the cardboard looking stuff amazon too? This is why I prefer verbiage as you go along and do you use a spray to hold foam on fabric and webbing or just hope it stays up and if not can I use it ? It looks simple but I need to hear you to explain would be better

Some parts are narrow from phone camera which could’ve been held wide wise to film so one can see better. All in all I’d feel comfortable in doing this from the video thank you 👍

Thanks for your video, I purchased 2 beautiful chairs from Goodwill for $25 each. Went to price how much to have them reupholstered. It's close to $700 so decided to try to do it myself. Hope my chairs come out as beautiful as yours. Again, thanks for sharing your video. Blessings.

You can also take a pea of wood glue on ur finger tip, and very carefully smooth it over the old staple holes!

This was very helpful. I'm redoing the exact same style of chair except mine has a removable seat cushion. Now I need help with how to sew the cord trim around those nooks and crannies where the arms are.

did you notice your fabric pattern is crooked and off-balance?
@keithharmis312 жыл бұрын
The chair looks pretty good, but next time you should center the pattern and match it so it is continuous from top to bottom.

Steam the chair back cushion to freshen it. Chose a fabric without such an obvious pattern or buy enough fabric to match the chair back, front, and bottom.

My issue is that my dining chair set from offer up that I am refinishing had a solid board screwed on at some point... so I want to replace the solid board with cane webbing as it’s much more comfortable but at the same time stapling the fabric directly to the frame seems a bit beyond my skill level, however I am going to give it a try. I suppose I could also just saw out the middle of the wooden seat board then web it and upholster it and then put it back... The other thing I really want to get is that look of sort of a domed seat cushion not just a flat square but unsure the best combination of foam to achieve that.
