Yep public shaming and false accusations along with spreading hurtful mean gossip rumors about others online and offline can be dangerous and it's illegal. It's important that we should be careful about what we post online can damage someone's reputation and how to prevent public shaming from being a problem. That way we can avoid making the same mistakes like what happened to madeline from my fair madeline movie.

I know this video is for elementary school students but I love how blatantly wrong this information is. What a Digital Footprint ACTUALLY is a way of storing data that helps sites keep track of what you last did. Another word for this is called cookies which you might see often on websites when they ask you "Please accept Cookies so we can track you online". For example, they use Cookies/Digital Footprints which can allow them to personalize your home feed on sites like KZbin, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Etc., or give you personalized ads (Which is the reason you see ads that are typically of things you may be interested in). They can also be used to help keep you signed in to accounts on websites as well. Also here is a Pro Tip, Don't share your face or name on social media or if you do, do it on a private account. You won't have to worry about most of the things they are brought up in the video if you do that. Unless you're planning on becoming a celebrity online, just don't reveal your face or name to the internet.
