Huh, I think this list is absolute bonkers, no offense to the creator of course. 1. Exeggutor being lower ranked than Venasaur is insanity. It sees a ton more play and is a stage 1 that only needs 1 energy to do average 60 damage. The best aggro EX in the game, AND it can live through a Mewtwo ultimate attack. 2. The basic EXs should all be S tier, as they are so good they create balancing issues, honestly. Further, Mewtwo EX and Pikachu EX are probably S+ as they are the most meta defining and overall strongest pokemon, simply due to their power, support, and consistency (as they are basic). 3. Arcanine is great, sometimes better than Charizard itself, as it is more overall less energy intensive and more consistent as a Stage 1. Most likely A Tier, nowhere near F. Weaker than Starmie in most cases, though. 4. ANY Stage 2 EX really should not truly be S tier as they are too inconsistent. Venasaur is probably B to C tier, though probably not as bad as most people think due to Erika support (another issue is that Charizard and Mewtwo EXs both fare VERY well against it, and those are 2 of the 5 most common decks in the game; Charizard can 1 shot it and Mewtwo can 2 shot it even through Erika + potion + attack healing). I think a better question is, which is the WORST EX? Now this is still up for debate.

Blaziken would beat the piss out of Charizard tho

Arcanine is not F. Arcanine isn't the star of the deck it's best used in. Charcanine Ex has a super high win rate because in the match ups where Charizard is more likely to lose, Arcanine is more suited to win. Is self damage bad? Yes. But I think you're underestimating the early pressure you can have if Moltres gives you a couple good coin flips. I encourage you to try out the Charizard Ex + Arcanine Ex deck.

I've been addicted to buying slabs from Gamestop. Lol bought about 12 psa 10 Pokémon cards already, and they are selling it cheaper than eBay comps. It's definitely a win from gamestop.

ALRIGHT YALL after looking into it I was too harsh on arcanine. I didn’t battle with or against it enough to realize it’s potential. All other rankings stand.

pretty solid production quality, but seems like you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the meta. if you say you are going to "tell which cards perform the best within the current meta," you explicitly can't look at a card's power in a vacuum. you have to look at it in the context of all of the other cards being used and available. mewtwo & pika were dominant, and pika, starmie, and articuno decks rose in popularity because of how fast they can get going and how they perform against other meta decks. by that, you have to acknowledge that arcanine, despite being bad on paper, excels in the meta because he can also set up very quickly and 120 damage (+10 with giovanni) is enough per turn to deal with some of the most prevalent threats in the current meta. it is all contextual. and while his being reliant on moltres may be worth knocking couple points off, overall there is still a net benefit because at the end of the day arcanine still gets access to a tool to get online faster that other types don't. it is similar to how articuno benefits from misty or pika benefits from pokeball. moltres' existence makes arcanine more dangerous where arcanine might have otherwise just been too slow to be viable. edit: fixed typo/double negatives

This video is a meme right? I find it funny how game knowledge seems to correlate with calling them by the amount of pokemon in the evolution tree (Like calling venusaur and Charizard "Three stage") versus in the TCG the stage indicates the number of evolutions. It shows the lack of experience which clearly shows in rating venusaur over charizard and mewtwo, both decks that would invalidate any amount of healing you could do. But I forget, your deck auto-wins against mewtwo. Because they rely on a stage two. Unlike you. Who relies on a stage 2.

Arcanine EX is quite common in the top of tournaments now. It can one-shot Pika EX for example and does quite well with Moltres. An F-tier card wouldn’t be topping tournaments so frequently. Also Venu above M2 and Moltres? Have you been looking at any tournament results? 🤔

Wait, you said Venesaur is great once it's set up, but Arcanine is disappointing because you need to set it up? Even it only needs 1 evolution as opposed to two + you can set it up easily with Moltress Ex? It's even an underrated card in the meta atm. And Mewtwo not in S tier is wild, especially when in the current meta, it's the most used Ex with the highest win rate.

As someone that currently doesn't own a Zapdos EX or a Jolteon, I've been consistently beating the third level with a deck that has two Pikachu EX cards, and I can consistently pull it. On the rare (say, 1 in every 10) battles that I can't, I go for a Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff EX combo (that has even saved my skin in PvP earlier today). Having said that: I want a Jolteon soooo baaaaad.
