Hey man thanks for the great video! Been drooling over these bikes for a while. I have both an Ariel Rider ebike (1000 watt) and a Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle. I kind of feel like this might be the best of both worlds, just with less range than my motorcycle. How does this thing perform on hills? I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains and can make it up mountains on my ebike if I am pedaling pretty hard, but curious if the electric motor struggles at all? Not a ton of videos on these bikes yet, so really appreciate your insight sir. Thanks - Shane

Thanks for the comment. You’re gonna love it. This bike eats hills and gains speed. It’s a perfect fit between the 2 vehicles you already have. The other 2 might be collecting dust😂

I was lucky and go the 6.4 battery. I live in Santa Barbara and we have some pretty steep hills an my scrambler makes it up them pretty easy. Battery was poor at first, but I figured out it was mostly me because I wasn’t easing on the throttle from a stop, and coasting to a stop instead of hard breaking. I def had to relearn. It I digress, it handles Californian hills pretty well. Hope my info helps some.

Great review , i think your front tire is on backwards though, sorry i think the thread pushes water from the inside of the tire tread to the outside, your thread pattern is going inwards, pushing water to the inside of the tread pattern etc. yup, if you look at the pattern on your front tire, it would work better if you were going in reverse (lookin out 4 ur safety). Thanks for Posting

I had to double check the front tire after your comment. It is on correctly according to the tire . There is an arrow on the tire. One for the front and it’s opposite for the rear. No idea why. Appreciate the heads up though!

I'm thinking about upgrading from my Bandit to the Land Moto. I live in San Francisco and mostly use the Bandit to commute to work, run errands and occasionally have a passenger. I love the Bandit but I do wish I had a bit more torque (mostly when I'm dead stopped) to climb steeper hills or when I have a passenger. I think the Brute would fit my needs but I don't love the look of it. The Javalin is also a contender but I've been leaning more and more to the Land Moto for its look, quality and versatility of speeds. Plus it would make it safer for me with the increased speed and torque to better keep up with traffic. The Bandit takes awhile to hit its higher speeds so by that point I'm already at the light 😅 How would you compare the Bandit to the Land Moto? Do you still ride the Bandit or do you just stick with the Land Moto? Which do you enjoy riding more? Thanks!
@quadzilla2854
@quadzilla2854 2 ай бұрын
No comparison between the bandit and the land . The bandit is a good ebike. This is another animal ! No passengers on this one. No pedals so you will need to get it registered. But the power on this is crazy fun. The land is my daily rider. I still use the bandit for bike paths riding with the wife. I haven’t seen any of the new bikes from sparks in person. So hard to say . Land is more money but the quality of this bike is way better just sayin Hope that helps. Very happy with my purchase after a year and already told them to put me on the preorder for the new model coming out next year.
@alanfeng97
@alanfeng97 2 ай бұрын
@@quadzilla2854 Gotcha, I was thinking about using the Land Moto as my daily/longer commutes to nearby cities and Bandit for "slower" rides or if I want to take shortcuts via bike paths. Bummer that I can't take passengers on the Land Moto though. Do you know if its just b/c there's not enough room on the seat or if its a weight capacity issue? I know there's no pegs but I figured I could probably 3D print something to attach to the frame and install some (although not sure structurally how that'll go lol).
@alanfeng97
@alanfeng97 2 ай бұрын
Maintenance wise, from what I can tell it doesn't seem like you've had to do too much on the Land Moto right? I'm about 3000-4000 miles in on my Bandit after about 1.5-2 years of daily use and the few things I've had to do is bleed my brakes, swap out brake pads 2-3 times and very soon replace my tires. Honestly not too bad & I'm sure I'll be doing the same work on the Land Moto. I feel like after 10k miles on your Land Moto the only thing you've really had to do is clean and lube your chain regularly?
@quadzilla2854
@quadzilla2854 2 ай бұрын
@@alanfeng97that is correct. I just had brakes and tires done around 11,000. They said I could have got another another 1,000 miles roughly. Also chain was due to be replaced . I decided to switch to the belt drive which just became available . No more chain maintanence !

Hey... My Land District package came with 2 yellow and 2 red reflectors stickers... Anyone using these? I'm a 1st time rider, so I put the yellows vertically on each side of my battery "bucket"... Might not look the "cleanest" any longer now, but get a little peace of mind when riding at night... O and put one of the reds horizontally on the back of the battery bucket. Any thoughts? These are 3M stickers, wonder how easy to take off if I change my mind🤔

I think the hate for emotorcycles comes from people thinking they are meant to fully replace a gas one, which currently most of them are not. They are built to be reliable and fun modes of transportation for daily commuting and activities. They are expensive, but they are also an emerging form of transportation and will get less expensive with time.

Could you find out what they did to lower the seat? Was it land Moto that did it when you say that did they use a lowering links? It looks like a great bike. The only thing I find that may be an issue is the wind up sound. Can it be tuned down to half if not outright shut off? If it doesn’t sound as loud in person as it does on video it’s all good. Also is there an ability to fill in the empty space where the battery is for 20-40 more amps of battery?
@quadzilla2854
@quadzilla2854 8 ай бұрын
Definitely sounds louder on video . Also my chain was due to be lubed. They came out with a new tune that seems to make it quieter as well.
