I love the improvement. If you spam light attack it hits the balls back at the enemy and do the same damage, but more frequently i think. Just stop worrying about timing it.

I'm really enjoying this game

okay a few things to tell you going to Dr Higgins over the shop when you need potions. doc Higgins has a cauldron that you can drink from for free that will heal you. for getting extra HP and a potion if you can afford it. and sometimes the sharp won't carry a potion refill. your focus hits is whenever the blue number is up there. when you're using the hammer you get focus hits when you hit multiple enemies in a single attack. also if you do the light light heavy attack the heavy attack will do focus damage in that combo and you got to make some heavy damage into your combo cuz it's taking you a while to kill the enemies. also in the Grove when you make it all the way to the boss that's where you find the blacksmith and you'll be able to start upgrading your weapons. also the gourd boss has been nerfed and they will ground pound and used to see less often. and you do need to start buying better armor. I recommend you try the light armor it may have less defense but you can freaking dash instead of roll and that gets you a lot more distance and I frames
