Nice you must have started early! You made those sketchy log jumps look easy. Where you got lost in the middle there is a connector trail to rider's right after that last log drop, it pics up on the left side of the two track that wanders over the hill top.

Good stuff man. I just moved out to the Tahoe area and have been getting familiar with Sierra. I’ve been riding tree runs off gates 1 and 2 off Eastabout but I haven’t ventured out to the other gates. Which gate were you dropping in on for these runs??

why do bikes ride in the roads when theres a sidewalk, like, right there...
@Madbarrel106 жыл бұрын
Because sidewalks are for walking...it's in the name sideWALK. The roads have designated bike lanes that are for bikes.

One of my favorites in EDH, the whole Browns Ravine system of trails is great too.

nice!! hey i always wonder if you can make it to grandview lift from huckleberry or do you have to hike out?
@Madbarrel108 жыл бұрын
It's gnarly man. You have to hike at least 1 mile in knee to waist deep powder and it's up hill the entire way back. You can only do 1 run and it takes the rest of the day to hike back. I definitely wouldn't recommend going back there. The groomers and park laps are way more fun.

oh dang! yea i was thinking it could be like that. thanks for the info! Pray for snow!!

+Matt Trask Haha, that last little off axis 360 at the end I came down and plowed my shoulder and the side of my face straight into a rock that was just below the surface. Had to call it quits after that.

I just got a mountain bike and I live Serrano. Where are all these awesome looking trails that you ride on!?!
@Madbarrel1010 жыл бұрын
***** this is over in Folsom along the American River. If you start up by Folsom bike shop and head and follow the bike path you will see a dirt path that splits off to the left. There are all kinds of trails up in our Area, I live right off EDH Blvd.

You kids have it great around here nowadays. Back in the 80's we had to blaze our own trails in hybridized Beach Cruiser/10-Speed monsters that weighed about 30 pounds, with skinny brakes on Fat tires. I keep telling my friends in Sac, and the Bay Area about EDH and all the cool Recreation available at a moments notice....keep on keepin on!

where is this at?
@Madbarrel1010 жыл бұрын
stefan meyer it is in El Dorado Hills, CA and if you are on the corner of El Dorado Hills Blvd and Serrano Parkway just go to the top of the hill and you will find it. Right now they have access to it fenced off because they might start building condo's over there. But if you get to the top of the hill you can't miss it.

Where is this
@Madbarrel1010 жыл бұрын
Sam - This is in Newbury Park. If you are driving over the borchard grade into Dos Vientos, you can see it off to the right just as you start up the grade. If you hike all the way to the top of the hill you will find it. This was right after the Springs Fire so it was super bare, but Im sure those bushes started growing back by now.

Yeah, it was a weird angle because if I kept straight the rut got deeper and deeper. So I tried crossing before it got too deep. It's a 2010 trail teams and it all depends on how the dealership puts it on the lot. I bought mine out in New Jersey and it didn't come with the rack. Plus, I hate the stock racks, I will be putting on the safari style rack.

Well no shit you almost rolled it!!! If you are gonna roll to the right, why would you turn left!?! Always turn into the roll, it will drop the ass end back down unless you are too far gone already. I don't blame the GF for cussing, I was too!!! That was some scary shit!

@theoriginalmodz haha, sorry to tease you man. I bought the FJ out in Jersey when I was living out there for work but I'm from Southern California and this video was shot about 50 miles north of Los Angeles. Way different from the Pine Barrons right! Getting sick of that mud im guessin.
