This makes me want to cry. I hope he’s on another planet where the inhabitants appreciate this incredible genius. Think of all the beautiful music we never were able to hear. I hear something new or different every time I listen to Hendrix. Where did that wellspring of originality come from? I just wish there was more.

That's got to be the best solo I've ever heard from Hendrix. And the fact that it's mostly improvised makes it even more mindblowing

This is the clearest sounding version of Here My Train A Comin that I ever heard. A badly overlooked song from Jimi.

Jimi was so good he could paint his guitar a different colour half way through a song and not miss a note.

Nigel in Canada 🇨🇦 a guy held Jimi's MARSHALL stack while he impailed it or fu*ked it when asked if he was going to just do this for the rest of his life he responded? "what?, and leave 'show biz' "

I really appreciate Jim Hendrix, but I didn’t like to see his flash of an annoyance at the very beginning. Noel might’ve come in a bit too early; but he did not deserve a public putdown

Had Jimi lived past 27 yo...he would have created music far, far beyond belief. So young...so tragic.

To me, this Performance isn't all that good...NOTHING like Machine Gun...Mitch Mitchell seened bored, and Jimi didn't seem to be too thrilled to be there.

After machine gun, this is Jimi's close second. The berkeley version. I love all his studio shit. But his on the spacehip driving shit is what holds him above any guitarist, including. Me. I can only emulate

To me this is a low point for all on stage... it's a completely forced situation and I don't think anyone playing here is enjoying the experience as no funny pun... This is forced playing by contract.

What I find irritating about this style of music video is that more time is spent showing biographical stuff totally incidental to Jimi's playing. Sure it's great video editing, but what's far more meaningful is watching Jimi's emotional responses: his facial expressions, body language, his right and left hands - while he's playing the music
