Hi Whats the best way to start playing vanguard? Is it better to buy old starter decks, new trial decks or build deck by buying singles?

Hi I really want play vanguard but i dont know how and where to start. What are the best decks to buy just to get started before building one by my own?

im confused 3 min in why ride the old levi the new one is 1000 times better in the ride deck than the old one you only ride into the old one if ur going for a kill turn and need the persona to push it over the edge.

You forgot to activate Idiras skill whn hes bound,and the g2 rideline will still draw even if you put a ride deck normal unit back to ride deck bc it still counts as part of the three or more being bot deck

For the levidras user You do know the grade 2 attacks from the backrow for a 4 to 5 attacks

Persona Ride activates through a normal ride during your ride phase, assuming you fulfill conditions of cards having persona ride icon and same card name.

10:37 - BIG misplay Amorta's divine skill never stated that you can activate persona ride. Its just a superior ride like Raging Form. Persona ride is only tied to the ride phase unless explicitly stated like the Cray Cross Epic peeps etc.

Did you just... Draw for Persona when riding from Amorta Divine Skill??? That's wrong, you don't get Persona Ride when riding by a superior ride

I haven't played Vanguard since the Limit Break era. But if I were to get back into the game, Oselargest is definitely the beast I would roll with.

I really don't like the new GR2 RR for the deck. Yes the deck needs a rear guard that can banish itself without the need of Liael's effect but the timing is really bad on that one. Hope Bushi does better in the future support.

How do you feel about the deck in the early stages of the game? I feel like the deck has a massive resource generation problem and I never feel comfortable calling units early that I can't easily get back or get much value from calling early. Plus I don't know if I'm just cursed but I also have a really tough time finding Persona Ride in this deck. Last time at locals, I got it thrice in nine games.

UPDATE: For those who wanna use Gabwelius in the deck you can replace copies of Pernacetra or Cerrgaon with copies of Gabwelius!

It seems like a lot of grade 3’s but it makes sense bc you need levidrass to use it’s skill, and the rg g3 let’s you draw a card so maybe it’s not so bad

what about cadwalla in replace of nobia bc u u need to find rez vita so cadwalla can help with that and then u just draw then u can call him back with rez to attck and soulblast the niberius if u didnt do it on the 1st attck it did

i didn't point this out before, but gabwellius isn't just rezael support. he's also liael=amorta support, because he's a keter unit that's support for any vanguard with "fated" in its card name, with 2 decks meeting that requirement

Ya know. I never seen someone try to make Rezael deck with only 3 heal so far. Could be option folks to have 8 crit, 4 front, 8 crit, 3 front, 1 draw, or 8 crit, 2 front, 2 draw. I personally used the 8 crit, 3 front, 1 draw. Can’t wait to get the box this friday. Great Deck Profile

Would you say that Solrairon is like the D series version of Deity Valkerion & Origin Deity Uranus with Heavenly Dragon Astraios ? I really loved the Astral Plane and all with that deck from V series. Also the Solrairon Masques coming in the Dragenesis set? Really might try to get the cards for a Masques deck if so

Couple tips from someone who mains Impauldio now. The Token Order is a little confusing, you get 5k when you take a damage. You DONT get 5k if that damage is a trigger and you have less than 4 gauges. If you have 4+ gauges you get the 5k regardless if it's a trigger or not. It doesn't trigger twice unless you take 2 damage, so on the last turn you would have only been 18k. Impauldios 5k to front row for every 2 gauges, is not restricted to OPP being grade 3. On your first grade 3 turn, you had 5 to the front row, also the grade 3 RG gets 5k power if you have 2 or more gauges. The grade 2, nebula invoke dragon. Is a 20k shield if yoy have 4 or more gauges, and can SB for 5k power, or 15k power if gauges are 5 or more. So at the end there you could have just guarded with the nebula dragon as he is a 20k shield. Also, for varga specifically, never leave rg for them to retire if you can help it, you can't generate a board like they can. Impauldio plays for the long game and to be tanky. If you go first, get to 4 gauges if you got grade 3 RG and be aggressive but don't let them retire attackers for free, especially nebula dragon as he's a 20k shield in hand or on field. Also, the grade 2 rideline skill to get a card from gauge to hand, is optional! You have to put top card of deck to gauge, but you don't gave to add a card back. If you're at 3 gauges, and there's nothing that good to get back, sometimes it's better to not grab anything. Then when you use VG skill to gauge from drop, you're at 4 gauge, 10k to front row and with the Grade 3 RG you get 3 checks going first.

[AUTO](VC):At the end of the battle this unit attacked, choose any number of Set Orders from your Order Zone, if you chose three or more cards with different card names, choose one of your rear-guards, [Stand] it, and if you chose five or more cards with different card names, [Stand] this unit, and this unit gets [Power]+10000/drive -2 until end of turn. Return all of the cards from your Order Zone chosen with this ability to your deck and shuffle it. the deck used to not be good with the sheer amount of order cards with different names that you had to run, but this new support makes the deck very fun to play (at least i assume), but to also fight against (i know this because Top Deck Heroes actually did a stream with eldeglema where they fought against channel members)
