Finally I solved it after a gruesome 😭 6-10 hrs

i have been playing 3X3 for 2 years now but cannot solve a 4x4 thanks to this video i know now

every few years i find my old cube in some corner, begin to fidget with it trying to recall the steps to solve it, and come back to this video to learn it again.

Why at 3:18 do you write the algorithm as ‘Rw’ as notation for moving both the right hand layers of the cube, whilst at 4:10 you write the notation as ‘Rr’ despite it being the same move (both right hand layers)? Is it just a different way of writing the algorithm?

I got to the fishy part and couldn't get one yellow corner... It never worked out like in the video. I can't be positive, but I think one of my kids twisted one of the corners - though I kind of feel like you should be able to conteract that, but maybe it breaks the algorithm... Finally just twisted it into place and the rest went fine.

On step 2 I am left with 2 unpaired piecec, but all of the rest is paired. I donr have anything to fix on top anymore
