Watching this really helped me figure out why it's been so hard to start the process of creating my webtoon. As you probably can tell, judging from my username, I’m also hoping to create a webcomic someday, but I would prefer to self publish my webcomic first, before creating KZbin Videos.

I just want to say for the record, that I’m also creating a webcomic, and I have 5 OCs working together on the same team. However, just for the sake of simplicity, I’d like to point out 2 of my OCs: mainly Ike and Quincy. 1. Ike is wearing an outfit that reads essentially like a space cowboy and has a laser pistol, kinda’ like Han Solo, but he’s actually 20 years old, and has very little experience at first. 2. Quincy is a robot, but more specifically, she’s drawing inspiration from the robot from the 1927 movie Metropolis, as well as C-3PO, and also has black and white hair reminiscent of the Bride of Frankenstein, but her superpowers are actually very reminiscent of Lisa from Weird Science. What do you think?

I love the inspiration for Quincy, Metropolis is a classic and that can add cool character dynamics. Like including the theme of “what does it mean to be human.” Ike also sounds cool, especially with him lacking experience. He seems gutsy & impulsive and I’m sure that’s gonna introduce many fun adventures! Keep at it and update with a link when your comic goes live 😊

Soooo I have a lot of thoughts on this! In a nutshell I think it depends on the type of story. However regardless, of how many episodes a story has…. if that FIRST episode isn’t satisfying, it is unlikely for me to keep reading.

I have a 35 page long document... just world building of an idea i would LOVE to turn into a webtoon but... Well... Quite time and miney consuming... plus I'm such a perfectionist and stressed person i need everything to be "perfect" before starting and while i work on it... 😢
