Five grappling hooks disappear at 1:51 ? I'm also not quite sure how the ability cooldown works in terms of time and quantity. Either way though I'm excited for this, looks like a lot of work and I already love the healing mechanic being sandwiches. I wonder if that is automatic after a timed delay between getting shot at, or a consumable.

So rather than the same equipment from mp, I tweaked them to become "abilities". There's no way to tweak the UI to take away the number but each equipment has a custom cooldown timer that starts when you use it, then you get it back, rinse/repeat. Sandwiches are a manual consumable that you activate 😁

Great stuff ! Only downside i see is that its a bit unclear maybe for someone who does not know the game mode at all before playing, the first games might be a bit rough. Anyway very smart mechanics you pulled out.

Thanks! And yeah I'll be exploring easy to improve readability as much as possible before launch, but that area is quite limited unfortunately so I'll have to get creative.

Yeah that would be cool but max players is 24 in custom games, plus the canvas is the perfect size for 24-32 players so it works out.

Pods on back burner for now till we can find better solutions (too buggy and takes too much budget). But good news is we have an official pelican now that goes 3rd person vs the old Roblox looking one 🙌🏻

How did you do the scripting for the drop pod door flying off? Trying to do something similar for a map I'm working on!

My partner scripted the drop pod so I'm not positive, but I think it has to do with setting the objects velocity in a certain axis. Hope that at least points you in a direction!

In this video I simulate a drop by moving the map up to the drop pod, however it is possible to do! We have working drop pods in our BR mode, but my partner is the mastermind behind that.
