This worked for me today. A couple of things: As well as turning on usb transfer, turn on stay awake in developer mode For this command the file name is different. Make sure to check that the name between adb and platform-tools is the same as the file that contains platform tools. For me it was platform-tools-latest-windows C:\>cd adb\platform-tools-latest-windows\platform-tools Also depending on how your unzipper, there may not be a file in the middle. If you opening the adb file in file explore leads to the platform_tools file, then the command you should use is: C:\>cd adb\platform-tools-latest-windows\platform-tools Good Luck!

I'm here 4 years later. Will this work with android 11? Okay, so I have did everything you did. I have an app that is about 17GB in size, i moved that one as a test. initially i had 55GB used of 64 in the internal and after doing what you did, I have 52GB free now. and that 3GB has been moved to the SD card, what does this mean, and I can move the entire 17GB to the SD card.

For those who can’t see their device in adb devices, try the following: 1) disconnect the phone 2) turn off developer mode 2.5) restart the phone/pc 3) connect phone via usb 4) turn dev mode back on 5) turn stay awake on 6) turn debug via usb on 7) try adb devices again

Hi, can I still do this on android 14? I'm using a Samsung tab S9 FE with 128 gb of storage. Already have the card inatalled and transferred some apps to it via settings. However I want to turn my sd card into internal storage. Before trying this, I just want to ask if it still works and if the sd card will be formatted after changing it to internal storage via this method? Help is much appreciated.
