I purchased it for my son's freshmen college season, unfortunately, it did not last 9 games and the strap in the back has torn away from the protector. The biggest complaint has been the customer support from Force3, can't call, and need to email, and once I did that they denied the warranty saying "warranty claim does not meet our criteria, the damage caused is not a manufacturer's defect." I would think they would want to look at the chest protector to see that it is ripping at the seams and maybe try to improve on the design, but have not been able to get someone to reach out to me, they only offered a 40% discount on a replacement. Very disappointed save your money!

I have stability issues. Would this protect my nose, if I fell flat on my face? Serious question.

This is great - but how about replacement padding for your hockey style mask. For those of us that have been using them for a number of years now - the padding starts to deteriorate (fall apart) - Can we please get replacement padding kits for those? Other manufacturers are.
