Ey bro thank you for the kind words :-) Im shooting a single stack 9mm 1911 made by Metro Arms. The bull barrel and tungsten guide rod really keeps things really soft shooting. I used to shoot a .40 2011 and there really is a difference

I was lucky because I got the first one after one week in 2019 and 2 months later in 2022. One of my friends waited nearly 6 months. I really hope Metro Arms has increased their capacity to keep up with orders.

I was showing off to my daughter that I can use her gun right after using my shadow2. Classic magwells used to tornment me for an entire year sir :-D

My dad practically jumped into the sport with no experience or friends. That being said, it helps a ton to have a good start. I really recommend finding the most credible coach to show you the ropes. The very best might sound daunting but he can save you years of trial and error. And well know that you cant buy the time you lost :-) a good coach and club can also help enhance your enjoyment tremendously. In the end we want to enjoy our range time. Wishing you luck. Im more than happy to wish you the same. Yeah I put up with CA gun laws hahahaha but hey, Im just grateful for everything. All I gotta say is God save Judge Benitez and your Constitution. Its a bright light of inspiration for the whole world

@@tnh723 lol Saint Benitez is the only thing standing between us and total breakdown of the second amendment. I think shooting sports are really important as a reminder of different applications of that second amendment. Im looking around at different guns to try and find something suitable for some kind of competition shooting. No idea where to even start. I need to put in research between videos I think

@360TacticalSolutions whatever you get into will be worthwhile. Ive gone through the ups and downs but it sure beats the same at the office! I really cant stress how amazing a person's progress could be jumpstarted by getting a top tier coach. I know a 15 year old who already beats me on speed and accuracy and I admire him for it and having the access to his coach and team (Armscor). So it isnt the time spent but the quality. Guys like JJ Racaza or the dudes at Universal Shooting Academy are who I think of. A single session with them can set you on a good path. Im also friends with IPSC world champion Kahlil Viray. He's only 22 look him up. He dosent believe in a mountain of ammo, training smart is what took him to the top. He's amazing but it also shows what is possible for all of us.

Slide to frame fit is tight, does not wiggle when I shake it very hard even today. Ramped bull barrel. Make sure to change the recoil spring every 2 years. We have both the flag and tri top model. Hope this info helps.

Id dip it again. Coz humidity where we are at is pretty nuts. The OEM mags are painted black but already started rusting a few weeks after we got the gun.

Yeah it didnt work reliably for me. The spring of my 9 round mag actually broke. I still have the gun but havent used any other magazine except for the originals. I also broke the slide stop, the factory is sending a replacement to me for free.

Snake used the original .45, this one is the 9mm version. You know I actually finished that awesome game on the ps2. That was quite the experience. Reticulated Pythons tasted awful 😆

Sir, best suggestion ko is to take a class with a good teacher para ma accelerate ang skills nyo sa shooting. Ruben Ortiz at Laguna Gunners at Cabuyao is a very good teacher. Benjo Carpio TNT Academy, Paolo Paulino, Edcel Gino, Dojo Palines, and more. Makakatipid po kayo sa oras & bala pag nag enroll kayo sa top shooter na teacher :-)

Hello po! I actually had ammo malfunctions in this match because we accidentally loaded them too weak. The gun itself has no problems at all. Nosediving sometimes comes from the magazine spring tension being too strong. What mags are you using po? Im using cobra mags. They used to nosedive also but not anymore when I used a +1 base pad from True Weight & speed edge. Somehow the spring became a little less tight and my nose dive issue never came back. Hope that helps sir!

Disabled the slide lock because I thought it would be better that way for competition. I was mistaken and put it back on a few weeks afterwards. My recent videos shows it working again

​@@tnh723but why do you think its better for competition.

I used to shoot standard/highcap division. We typically deactivate the slide lock there. Because of how each window in a stage is designed we always have a lot of ammo and know when we will change magazines. Its a habit I carried over to classic division. So now I learned that having the slide lock ON for this division is useful because of my much lower capacity and its nice to be notified by slide lock that I'm empty. Rather than lose 1 or 2 seconds from pulling the trigger on an empty chamber and then racking it.

Hello sir! In competition I like 9mm because it has lighter recoil than .40 However you can also ask your reloading company to make soft shooting .40 Another reason is I also have a shadow2, so the ammo I use for thr mac 1911 and shadow2 are the same. Easier for me because I can share the same ammo with 3 guns at home. Hope that helps po! Sayang di ako naka punta sa gun show. My friends told me this was the best one in many years because of the many new guns and PCCs
