Hi char . I'm jack and went on my first cruise last may and absolutely loved it. I booked October 23 .previously I started looking at KZbin videos and found all these people with there cruise vlogs. Andy and kirsty came up first. From then on so many. Iv seen tom and Dom sisters on the sea and you and your lovely family. Iv seen all of yours I think! . You dad is funny with his expressions. Sophie looks so much like your mum there smile ect. Nan and brother also. So the question is when are you cruising again? . Your vlogs are great fun . Happy new year to you all

Hi this is not the right place to give a general post. I went on my first cruise last may. On ambassador ambience to the fjords. I took a 7 night incase I didn't like it. I so enjoyed every minute. And I'm hooked. I was looking on KZbin a year ago last September. So over time iv seem so many different people's vlogs. In a year I cannot tell how many hours. So your vlogs are informative which is what I was looking for. You have a lovely family and are fun on your videos. I'm looking for my 2nd cruise. Thank you. Jack

I was totally shocked and surprised Charlotte, that you have put footage from Rotterdam, Bruges and Le Harve all into this video, I've still haven't even sorted Rotterdam video footage out yet, from Blankenberge we actually got a train to eventually Brussels ourselves

We got off the cruise as you were about to board the same day. We had never cruised before but loved it so much we have already booked to go to the Fjords in May . 😊

Like you Charlotte, this was our 1st time to Hamburg, Germany we didn't dibthe 4D museum but we checked out the Philharmonie building then after Miniature wunderland, just sorting the video clips out through, ohh we also watched triboo, I think it was also that same night, but watched it upstairs instead

It’s ‘posh’ Butlins at sea. Not for everyone, but does have its plus points. A mate of mine went on this cruise and really enjoyed it. Complaint was food could sometimes be bette4 and too many people in buffet, and cabin stewards noisy outside cabin all day.

@charlockleyvlogs was great doing our 2nd P&O cruise but for some really odd reason our peninsula club points from our 1st cruise last year on ventura hasn't been applied yet we have 2 more cruises next year and the year after on Brittania, looking forward to the hamburg video next

The ship looks incredible and I’m thinking about booking but the thing putting me off is the sea days. What is there to do? Apart from read a book by the pool, it seems a bit boring but I guess it’s one of those thing you need to take the plunge and do

It sounded quite noisy in the public areas, obviously it's going to be loud because there are lots of people but are all cruises generally that noisy ?

@@charlockleyvlogsok. I'm not keen on crowds but it looks like there are plenty of places to go to where it's quieter. I've read that shorter cruises are sometimes described as booze cruises so I assumed it would be full of drunk people being lairy lol I don't drink and I hate being around lots of drunk people. Did you notice much of that? Also not just specific to this cruise but what's it like at night/early morning? Do you notice much noise from people going to and from their cabins/on their balconies? Can you hear people opening and shutting doors like you can in hotels sometimes? Sorry for all the questions.

@@humbug83 There are so many quiet areas where you can relax on a cruise ship! On this MSC cruise, I know exactly what you mean as it was being sold as a party cruise! But to be honest, there weren’t any issues! Everyone was respectful and mindful about the noise! I thought it was great! I could only hear noises when I was out on the balcony like the doors closing, but when I was in the cabin I didn’t hear anything. But I guess that also depends on the location of your cabin as you could be above or below public venue, so I would say research the cabin locations before booking!

i have indeed been on this ship before, just this summer, hardly 2 months ago! She really is lovely. I really reccomend the Freedom Dining restaraunts, and the Olive Grove for healthy eating, as well as the 6th Street Diner for a treat! Our cabin was great (Balcony). Our favourite bit was that we were constantly moving, and travelled so mych each night! We would wake up to a different view every morning. Cant wait to sail with P&O again, onboard Britannia, taking us to Northern Europe and Scandinavia! 😊

Hi we go on Saturday aswelll , been on before for a week. Tbh couldn't fault it , modern stunning liner..... if the chefs aren't cooking burgers and chips the English aren't happy. The pizzas are amazing and they have their own mozzarella factory in main buffet area. Looking forward to it...... 6 of us going this time.

We still have yet to get on our 2nd and 3rd P&O cruises Iona (this year)& Brittania next year but recently we have noticed Ambassador another cruise company that 1 cruise is going to other ports in Norway

Charlotte. Another great vlog from a great girl ha ! Couple of questions! Was the sky lift sold out on p&o excursions or was it sold out from outside the Iona as well? And the spa day voucher, did you go to the spa or anything to get it or was it just in your room?

@@TeamMJ thank you so much! For this cruise both the P&O excursion and booking directly were sold out! We were told it’s because there was another ship in! And the £30 spa voucher was left outside our cabin! I don’t know how they choose who gets them, but I feel it may be down to how busy the spa is too!

Oooo have a great time! I would say if you haven’t been on the ship before then have a wander round to get used to where things are! Make sure to pack formal attire if you wish to dress up! And research the dining/bars before you go!
