This add-on has poor compatibility with Windows 10/11. I presume you have replaced the digichk4.dll with a 'fixed' one that is provided by Flight1 on their product page? This is actually a broken dll and causes the freezing. Flight1 never tested this properly and it's kind of strange they still sell this product. What you need to do is use the original digichk that is installed with the add-on by default, that way the displays work without freezing. This file should have a file date in January 2008, it's in the FS root directory. You'll probably need to reinstall the add-on if you have replaced the dll already. The trade-off with this dll is that it causes regular lag spikes when flying because the dll is not updated for a modern Windows. In FSX, they are infrequent enough that it allows for somewhat of a smooth video, though I still had to cut some parts out because of the lag. In FS2004, the lag is constant and makes it unflyable. The best and most optimal way to fly this bird would be on a Windows 7 because it will not lag there and everything works as intended. I hope this helps.

@@HoneyBadger_____ If you mean the AIG AI Manager, no, that only supports current flightplans (and only P3D/MSFS). These plans were all installed manually to FS2004. I do have a converted version of this traffic for my P3DV4/V5 as it's probably one of my favorite eras. Most of the models from AIA, AIG, AIM, TFS and others have their models converted to P3D (some even have PBR) and the more obscure ones usually convert fine with Model Converter X. GR 12 and 13 are download only products that require activation. They are also still being sold on their site, so I do not intend to upload them.

I have had that happen a few times before. Sometimes I had to reinstall all of the GR routes & rolling stock again to make it work. Does the rolling stock have a separate installer for you? Usually it's about something being wrong with the rolling stock so I'd try reinstalling it first if it does. Also, are other routes affected? And if all else fails, I suppose you can also look for the route/train folders for any GR related content and delete them, then reinstall all of them and pray it doesn't happen again.

@@CFRTrainSpotter Sometimes Train Store can just mess up things if you are not careful. I've had instances where a part of a route (Moselbahn) went routinely completely missing, I often just ended up copying a working folder of the route to make it work again, and sometimes even having to resort to a complete MSTS reinstall. I never understood why it happened. Btw I am using Train Store version 3.2.2 and NOT running as admin (this used to cause issues for me). So far it's been going well and the only mess up I've had is when I installed a route when I had stuff in the storage. I got the same trains not showing issue as you from that but I reinstalled the rolling stock and it worked again.

Yes...? It literally says so right in the beginning. ProTrain routes and rolling stock look even more rough.

@@Simulators i dunno, might have been just me. in some of your other videos the route looks better.

@@CFRTrainSpotter Good eye! This video was actually recorded on the old version of the route which is less detailed than the new version. My "IR 2537: Trier - Koblenz" video was indeed recorded with the latest version where the route has been rebuilt and looks significantly better and more detailed. I have thought about re-recording some of these on the new version but I haven't gotten around to it.

@@CFRTrainSpotter I managed to find the German Railroads 10 Jahre Virtuelle Eisenbahn DVD on Ebay which has everything German Railroads published up until 2011 so GR routes 1 to 11 and all task packages updated and improved. Unfortunately they are very hard to find, and GR themselves do not sell the DVD or a download version in their shop anymore for some reason.

When I played this game last, I was 12. It actually gave me nostalgia of taking off from O'Hare intl and landing in Dallas coming home from my dad's during summer vacations as a very scared 8 yr old who had to go it alone (They did cart me around from gate to gate, those cart drivers were the best!) They even seated me with another solo kid from Orlando so they could keep an eye on us...every now and then he would pass me one of his Oreos. Good times. I loved flying after that and have made the journey back and forth many times since.
